There are 649 Pokémon to date, 493 of which are currently admissible here. Either way, I hope nobody's expecting Jane to draw all of them.

I'm assuming in most cases we'd take one drawing per evolutionary line anyway. Still, an ungodly amount of effort, we should be making an open call for other artists.

...though I would totally love an image of a mother and father Ninetales in the forest watching their Vulpix kits frolic around...

There is a pretty good artwork of a (shiny) Ninetales, wouldn't know if mom or dad, taking care of eyr pups kits, I mean kits, at the riverside. Can't find it right nao tho.

Also the "Hyperbeam to space" Ninetales pic. But that's more Rule of Cool than anything.

What about that picture I posted of a mother Pikachu? Would that work well with the Pikachu article?

@Lockonlock - Yellow, naturally. Watch the film and the shark appearing usually follows something yellow on screen. Like the colour red and ghosts in The Sixth Sence.

@Erioguez - I would like to see what a taxonomic tree turns up.

RE: That magazine thing - I like the idea. I'm willing to write an article on the constellations. Already have a few ideas, like Pulse and Minun standing in for Gemini and the Ursaring holding a Sharpedo.

And I hope to do Psyduck soon. And it won't be a bird - it's a platypus.

I think one of the movies showed a few constellations during the closing credits. One of them, if I recall correctly, was a Machoke bench-pressing a Seviper.

Don't know if they're actually canon, though.

I think it was the Jirachi Movie that had the constellations. The only one I remember was a constellation of a Gardevoir.

Which would be virgo.

Pokémon Channel also has constellations.

Unfortunately neither Google Images nor DA are helping me find it. It is a nighttime scene of a silver/white Ninetales standing besides some trees and watching the pups kits! kits already! go play at the rivershore.
