Judging by Hayate's line about dubs, I wonder if it's the 2014 American Godzilla movie?

And, if so, WHEN THE FUCK IS THIS TAKING PLACE?! I THOUGHT IT WAS STILL 2004 IN THEIR TIMEFRAME!

I also like that that traps are great against someone like Hayate...but would be totally worthless vs an actual thief

I do wonder how Hayate intends to avoid that last trap.

Find out that she's a chain-smoking mercenary with a ton of tattoos and geneital piercings that was hired by Nagi's grandpa to protect the key.

@Kiuk: Well, I don't think anyone much other than Hayate would have gotten this far in the first place.

Nagi's mom probably would have just walked through everything, possibly oblivious to all the traps that were either avoided or failed outright for various reasons. Isumi could also probably teleport in, but would require someone to free a butterfly for her to chase.

I was sort of expecting Hayate to point out that if he gets through Nagi becomes her boss.

I don't think everyone gets a new contract if the CEO changes.

Technically you can't inherit service contracts, because that's slavery. Sort of.

Haven't they done that with Hayate a couple times? :P

That being said, having Nagi offer the girl a job would be a nice solution, but as it doesn't make Hayate suffer enough I don't think it'll be happening.

I'm kinda expecting Hayate's "Couching Moron, Hidden Pimp" mode to active here sadly.

Heya, Lynn. I was thinking about putting him on the character page, and boom, he appears in this chapter.

Sadistic traps, especially the second one. But with all the traps, was it really necessary to place a guard down there? Mikado's Crazy-Prepared! It's like he was saying "I'll put this guard here in case someone's crazy awesome enough to make it this far". And then it happened.

Although... How does Konoha leave such a trap-infested area four days a week unscathed? She's secretly awesome herself.
