Ah, the boars are back boar-drifting ftw. Maybe it's the bigger bots' fault but some of the greener stills are giving me Laputa-vibes. Also Platinum-style dual-sword combat, much yes.

Hmmmm.

I don't want to say I hate the art design, but the E3 trailer made it seem like it would be at least partially cel-shaded.

Speaking of which, is anyone else finding it odd how she's blindfolded in these scans and not in the E3 trailer? I kinda hope the blindfold is optional to be honest.

her being blind-folded is probably a plot point of some sort, i'd wager. she'll probably lose it as the game goes on.

also now that you mention it yes i do kinda get a laputa vibe from the robots.

That is what I suspected as well, it's such a minimal change in character design there is no way it can't be not related to the plot.

It's PlatinumGames so of course the combat is going to look fun

From what I could hear from the music it seems Keiichi Okabe went with a style similar to Akiko Shikata after all. That's strange, for a change my nutjob guesses actually turn out to be right one by one.

Yeah, it's interesting but it's also... well, to use a nice and formal term, "Unmarketable".

It's Platinum. If you even suggest of making a game even 59fps they kick your arse.

Maybe this'll be the game with the 1FPS boss. XD
