Even Hiro would not end the chapter with all of mission control, including Mavis, be all like "There's no hope", and not have something special turn the situation around. I mean, yeah, everyone was going "we're all doomed" when Kyouka crippled Erza and then Erza suddenly stood up and started winning for no reason, but that was at least within one chapter.

Speaking of Erza, her tits looked kinda small on the cover page.
