I don't watch western cartoons as much. I might very well complain were I to use that forum regularly. Further, the comparison is flawed because western cartoons do use something to make up for the lack of blood.

Explain what happens during filler then? Suddenly the lack of blood is made better because the writers don't have to write around Mashima, right?

Well- yes and no. The lack of blood stops being much of a problem, yes, but it also introduces a much bigger problem, in that it makes it clear that the filler writers aren't as good at writing Fairy Tail as Mashima is, and things become a lot more annoying and repetitive.

That's all Filler tho, not just Fairy Tail.

i kinda like some of the standalone filler eps.filler arcs and filler padding are usually bad though.

So, the Grand Magic Games ended horribly, and I think it's bullshit that not a single Fairy Tail wizard lost.

I haven't watched past that point yet, so maybe the arc gets better, but that was annoying.

well,they could animate the omakes and add in a filler arc.

Oh wonderful! A filler episode or a filler arc only 30 or so episodes in of a second try at an anime adaptation after A FULL YEAR ON BREAK!?!? No! Not gonna take this!!

Do you think they would animate Ice Trail and Zero instead of filler?

Zero would work out better i think.but i see it more like an OVA.
