I meant that he always had the eerie eyes and white hair. I mean, the baldness ups his villain cred and that beard certainly isn't doing him any favors but he must have looked enough like his old self that Eraqus didn't think he looked weird.

Pretty sure that what comes after the Xehanort Saga will be dealing with the Keyblade War remnants and Daybreak Town, as well as finding out what happened to the traitor of the Unions.

I know I should play more to find out more of the story of BBS, but I feel like Command Board will keep on distracting me. Seriously, people weren't lying when they said that thing's addicting. Most of my game time so far has either been CB or back-tracking to find all the chests I missed. The main worlds' stories are so short. Esp. Terra's visit to Disney Town. Sure I did some exploring before I raced, but the level is basically "Cutscene, do the racing minigame, cutscene, end".

Have the games had really short levels before or is just the case with BBS?

Daybreak Town? Unions' traitor? What?

BBS has shorter than normal worlds because the whole story is split up between the three characters.

Not really interested in trying out Chi. I've tried several mobile games in the past and could never get into them for long.

Plus, even if I was interested, I still have the problem of my phone never having enough space for nearly any apps. I only have and use a few certain ones. And usually, phone games take up a whole lot of space on my phone.

Makes sense. Still, some of those levels just breeze by if you're focusing solely on doing the story stuff.

In order: Wasn't trying to be hostile, 2.8 is only covering the events of chi from the Union Masters' perspective (hence its title of Back Cover), at the rate it's going it seems that it'll be caught up with JP soon, look up a guide, and it really is quite fun so you could at least give it a shot but be warned that the prologue takes a long while to get through.

Well if you don't play the mobile game, I wonder if watching 2.8's Back Cover will suffice?

The story mode is (Daybreak Town, Filler) repeat x ?? so far anyway. And I'm not anyway closer to answering the question Nomuru posted about the traitor, considering NA is gated at mission 250. (Japan has 500 so far.)

Previously, on Kingdom Hearts Unchained chi: A Chirithy (cat familiar many keyblade wielders have in this setting) fades into the light because his keyblade wielder was consumed by the darkness. My Chirithy talks with the leader of the union saying there must be a traitor... well ok Rule of Symbolism I'm guessing it's probably the guy from the Anguis/snake faction.

I'd probably enjoy playing it more on a phone then trying to use a emu.

And I'm not entirely sure if I'll be that interested in the game. Like I said, phone games rarely hold my interest for long due to me feeling like they get repetitive after a while.

I might try it if I have enough space on my phone, but I don't know if I'll get into it. At least long enough so that I can see the full story.

Back Cover likely won't cover everything as it's from the perspective of the Foretellers. As of this post, even the JP version hasn't had anything major happen in terms of series-wide events but stuff is going to go down that will likely affect people's perception of certain events. Soon.

I noticed that chi features badges of Nick and Judy. Do you think it's possible we'll get a Zootopia world in III?

The Command Board is definitely addicting and makes Proud Mode so much less death inducing for Aqua.

I'm not sure if they're far enough in development, but it seemed that only Big Hero 6 is the latest viable movie candidate that can be put in.

It's more likely that Zootopia's presence in chi as medals and outfits are mostly a promo for the movie since it came out in Japan only in April; and not an indication of Kingdom Hearts 3 involvement.

That being said, I wanna see Sora as an upright-walking animal/anthro/furry. I wonder what they'll make him.

I just.

I always like the idea that's sorta presented about how books can be worlds of their own. With the Hundred Acre Wood, and the Datascape.

The idea that everything in the series happened because of a book that contains the future within it. There's a symmetry there. A very bleak, nihilistic and cynical sort of fatalism that has a little bit of Pathos to it.

That everything in Chi specifically relies on the Book. Like, all the medals? The powers of people pulled from the Book. All the worlds except possibly Daybreak Town maybe? Ditto.

I sorta like stories where everything relies on one thing. Like, as thought experiments. Like in Mass Effect you have the Mass Effect fields. You can do a lot of things with just the ability to raise or lower a thing's effective mass.

You can also do a lot of things with a book that can conjure things from the future.

Yeah, that sort of storytelling is fairly interesting. It's can make for a lot more consistent world if you only have one big central change from mundanity around which everything is centered.

yeah, i just got past the mission where the whole foreteller thing was explained to my character. i didn't think they'd actually work the character icons on the medals into the story.

OK so we get an Event Board for the snugglies. It's a raid boss event. So trigger them raids, folks!

Also the outfits are out. 3000 jewels each. The medals are bundled with the outfits.

NO RANK MEDALS. ****ing hackers! This might have been the ranking challenge.

But then again the Nick and Judy medals are kiiiinda OP for this point in the game's life.

P.S. jewel is no longer censored. Jew still is.

EDIT: A warning though. At the current state the medals have different stats from JP. Nick and Judy are both 3bars AOE +1 attack level for the turn, instead of 1 bar +1 attack and 2 bars +2 attack respectively.

Basically until the medals are patched to be the same as JP don't buy the avatar boards for the medals. Buy them for the outfits.
