Thunder Surge wasn't nerfed in Final Mix, so you're still good to go on that front. My No Heart deck had three Curagas, three Seeker Mines and two Mega Potions in case I got hit by Mega Flare, which reduces HP to one and empties all your commands, but that didn't happen so I ended up not needing them. The mines worked great because No Heart dashes all over the arena with a charge attack, so he'd constantly charge straight into the mines and take a lot of damage.

I myself pretty much kept Seeker Mine active and enjoyed the summer blockbuster movie

To be fair, I went in blind and ended up beating him on my first attempt, so I didn't know how to actually react to anything.

"I have never lost to Xaldin" isn't really an impressive statement any more.

One time I somehow beat him in less than 2 minutes, but that was only from grinding ahead of time and spamming Jump.

The massive laser thing actually misses a small area to the right, so you don't need Reflect.

I think his wind dragon only misses a spot if you lead it to one side by moving to the far side of the bridge when he's flying off to make it? I'm not sure.

Base Xaldin may not be the worst, but Data Xaldin is something else, yo.

However, he did teach me a valuable life lesson. Stitch is a better summon than Tinkerbell.

Scott Pilgrim: Just going by the original, it's freemium, yes. What you can do is determined by your AP and BP, and once you're out you can either wait for them to refill, or pay for potions and ethers to refill them right away.

Seriously, I'm so mad at myself right now.

I still had to go back in and synthesize enough rooms to hit 300, not to mention reaching max level, and finishing the card collection. And now all of that is undone. Just...fuck.

I didn't even like the game that much, but it's not a hard Platinum, and I wanted to finish it. I guess I could do all that again on my Beginner run for that trophy, but levelling will take a stupid-long time, not to mention getting all the enemy cards again.

UGH!

I once deleted a playthrough of Emerald in which I had 70 hours logged, all three Hoenn legendaries, a 4/5 completed pokedex, and a Feebas that I obtained entirely on accident.
