That Moogle was so creepy and amazing. I can’t believe they didn’t give the moogle a chair.

I'm amused that we got so interested in the Anti-Black-Coat when he showed up in those trailers. And then it turned out that he was just a glorified sleeping chamber for Sora and didn't have any lines to speak of.

I have a message from another time...

I don't know about everyone else, but I found him interesting because I thought Anti Black-Coat was possibly Vanitas (another character people got hyped about who only appeared in the one scene from the trailer, interestingly enough).

So, here's a spoiler-ific question you guys: At the end of 3D, when Sora is sinking into the darkness, wouldn't Ventus' heart commanding his armor to appear on Sora count as a Big Damn Heroes moment? After all, that armor protects its wearer from the darkness and if that darkness was enough to completely corrupt the armor then it would have corrupted Sora as well. Even when I first say the scene, I got the impression that Ventus sacrificed his armor to save Sora from that darkness.

It's a shame we never got a reveal of the Moogle's true name. I'll just have to keep calling him Xemnaiorict.

I wouldn't think of it as a sacrifice, as such, but it definitely helped prevent the worst of the damage to Sora's heart. Without the armour, the cast may have been faced with a giant,anti-form nightmare Vanitas.

I have just realized that Master Xehanort has used the word "feckless" at least twice... which is about one time more than I would have ever expected any video game character (or anyone, really) to use that word.

I figure a game set in a more medieval setting (real or fantasy) would probably be more likely to have the characters using more antiquated vocabulary. After all, Golbez throws around "folderol" in Dissidia and how many people use that word?

I'm leaning towards no because it still didn't completely save Sora from the Xehanorts.

Though it's mostly just him and Cecil who do that. Kain to a lesser degree in the prequel.

I still want to see FFV characters at some point. They'd fit in easily, given that that one was the self-inflicted Affectionate Parody game.

Nightmare Ven Armor reminds me of the scene in BBS when Terra dons his armor to block Xehanort's darkness.

Funny that both efforts failed...to an extent.

talking about FF characters i would like to see... i am hoping for the ff12 crew to appear at some point.(especially Vaan and Penelo)

I'm pretty sure XII had a nobleman as the main villain.

Part of me thinks that both the Anit Black Cloak Nightmare and the Armored Ventus/Sora Nightmare actually are Vanitas.

We know now that Vanitas, or at least the darkness in Ven's heart that used to be Vanitas as well as Vanitas's memories of his own life are in Ventus's heart, and by extension Sora's. That's the reason Nomura says Vanitas appears to Sora in Le Cite Des Cloches.

So the Anti Black Cloak is a Nightmare, and one of Sora's Nightmares at that. A Nightmare is a Dream Eater, and a Dream Eater is the form Darkness takes in the Realm Of Sleep/Sleeping Worlds. That's what happened with Riku after all. Vanitas is Darkness, so in the Sleeping Worlds, he would take the form of a Dream Eater. And because Anti Black Cloak was one of Sora's Nightmares, he was therefore some of the Darkness in Sora's heart, and by extension possibly Ventus's, and therefore, possibly at least partially made of Vanitas.

The Armored Ventus/Sora Nightmare seems obvious actually. Because it didn't actually protect Sora from the Darkness, and the Armor itself seemed to be Corrupted. Several of the techniques of the Armor are similar to techniques used by Vanitas, and if Ven's Armor was corrupted, then I would say Vanitas, the Darkness in Ven's heart was the most likely reason it got that way.

I would like to see Aqua become the Anti-Villain-True Final Boss of Kingdom Hearts III. Just hear me out:

She finally gets fed up and decides to take matters into her own hands. So she steals the X-Blade from a battle-weakened Master Xehanort, gives him a Mind Rape-Vigilante Execution, and then attempts to create a universe free of darkness.

Out-of-character for BBS-Aqua (past)? Absolutely.

Out-of-character for KH 3-Aqua (future)? I dunno.

Aqua's personal timeline is compressed due to the nature of the Ro D – meaning that from her perspective, merely a year or so has passed. In addition, as seen in Blank Points, her personality is unchanged - despite understandable tiredness, she retains optimism and belief in her friends, and Sora.

In other words, Xionort would be more likely than Final Boss Aqua.
