Questionable Content

To my knowledge, Faye has never been implied to be anything but straight. Which doesn't rule out developing an attraction to Bubbles, but makes it less likely.

Also, I'd rather they not. I'm tired of people's first response to close platonic friends being "Well they must want to fuck."

Also, can't fault Brun there.

Have to agree there. This sentiment always reminds me of how people in school are being bullied if they are in any way friendly to a girl - because of course that's their girlfriend then. -.-

It's not so much that Faye has been characterized as predominantly straight - you could argue that fictional characters or even real people aren't entirely fixed at a single point of sexuality and can change over time. I wouldn't peg many characters as being wholly straight. Personally, I just don't really see them through shipping goggles. They seem like they're good for each other, Bubbles has Faye's back and Faye has Bubbles' and they're chill bros. I felt like the tickling punchline was Faye being goofy and playing off of Bubble's comedic seriousness, like she tends to do.

I totally want to see human/AI romance, but I'm not feeling it between Bubbles and Faye. Not trying to be a buzzkill though, just jumping in with my two cents.

Yeah, no adult content whatsoever. If you watch the English dub version, the late Phil Hartman does the voice of Kiki's cat-familiar.

It's a while since I saw it, but from what I recall, it's quite cute, but Ghibli can do cute without piling on the saccharine, so it's not an unpleasant movie to watch. Definitely one for the younger market by Ghibli standards, though.

Brun stop bring adorable.

I just about belly-laughed at today's...Brun's expression at the end is priceless.

I'll also pile on the love for Kiki's...Spindriver's right about it being really cute but not at all saccharine.

How exactly does Kiki's Delivery Service sound like he title of a harem anime? It hasn't got "love" or "girls" in it anywhere.

Kiki's Delivery Service! I love that movie! It's probably my second-favourite Studio Ghibli movie. It's so cute and fun and great. OK, I no longer dislike Brun. I can't dislike people who are Ghibli fans.
