Yeah, I feel the same.
Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down.Apparently Claire was the one who suggested going to a support group in #2895
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...& Funny, I found her reaction Adorkable.
Trump delenda est... so we're back to "The punchline is diabetes," huh?
I could've taken it if Marten wasn't all ^_^ which I'm pretty sure is an expression he's never made once in the comic.

Not me.
Trump delenda estI found Claire's reaction adorable, actually. :/
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself. It feels more like an aspect of the story this time, not a house-sized roadblock. I'm ok with it.
I initially saw the punchline as "Oh, you went to therapy? Was it because of me? Yeah, I did a helpful thing!" when... well, Faye went to a support group and feels better. This is a victory for Faye, not an "I helped! Yay!" moment.
I like Claire a lot, and even when things were saccharine I was on the side of the pairing, even when I felt that it was getting tiring. This is just one comic that I didn't like very much, because I feel that Claire's "I helped!" detracts from Faye's "I took a big step today".
And looking at those comics back-to-back makes me feel a bit less negative about today's comic. It is kind of cute.

Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down.I like Marten and Claire. Which is why I don't need the last panel of the comic to be Marten grinning like an anime character at her cuteness.
The joke about Claire's reaction honestly gets diluted by adding another panel of Marten adoring her. That's my issue. Honestly, I think most people are on-board with Marten and Claire, and those that aren't are not going to be won over like this. Hell, it's counter-productive, because those people are going to be annoyed at her Character Focus there, citing It's All About Me.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. This one, I actually liked, even though it's recycling the same punchline as yesterday. The repetition made it funnier, and the fact that with Claire being a smartass and Marten being offscreen makes it less saccharine.

Trump delenda estI'm glad that didn't turn out to be a joke about putting a condom on Pintsize's forehead dong.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI've got to get me one of those.
"I hasten to interject that I have potentially time-sensitive data that merits immediate consideration." - VaarsuviusOkay, that actually made me laugh.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Same here, first good belly laugh I've gotten from QC in a while.
Plot twist: Hannelore's dad is Gordon Freeman after changing his name and shaving his beard to remain anonymous.
No one recognizes his voice for some reason.

Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Agreed. Nice for Clairten to be taken down a peg.
(Again. I'm fine with the pairing but they've been way too flawless for way too long. Don't read into this as me going "I HAET THE TRANS COUPLE")

Couple dozen pages late for that.

...What? What did Claire have to do with it again? Regardless, she's being kind of a dick here.
