Okay I have had some time to think this over (and some help seeing as this is my first RP) and I will be redoing my Character sheet below:

  • Name: Sinclain Wolf Elwyn
Age: 30
  • Heritage: British/German
  • Gender: Male
  • Physical Traits: Red Hair, Dark Blue eyes, thin build that disguises a moderate muscle mass.
  • Backstory: Born near Cambridge to mixed parentage Muggle/Wizard was sent to a public school nearby that was part of a hostage situation, which he witnessed; this caused a lifelong dislike for violence and by extension war. He was sent to Hogwarts where he found a proficiency with Potions, Enchanting & Transfiguration and spent his spare time studying to be an Animagus; he successfully gained his licence on the second go and is a Fox Animagus , He Graduated directly into the Ministry and worked at enchanting Portkeys and Worked in the Department of Transportation. He got into trouble with the ministry for accidentally putting a faulty enchantment on one of the Portkeys that caused it to keep teleporting the wizards using it around the continent until the ministry sent someone to deal with it. Fearing that he might face a harsh penalty he fled to America he hid and worked as a guide for wizards who wanted to travel, He Eventually decided to go back to London in the wake of magic's untimely exposure to the general populace. He was caught using an Illegal Portkey and was given the choice of going to jail or joining the fight. He wisely chose to fight, He entertains thoughts about founding a group he calls "The Muggle Wand" formed of Wizards and Muggle Scientists to study magic and show the benefits of a peaceful resolution

  • Attire: Jeans and a T-shirt mainly

  • Weapons: Crossbow that can fire a variety of enchanted arrows (I will let you decide It does not need to be OP) that was a family heirloom.

  • Spellbar: Portkeys, Confundus, Finite incantartum, Expecto-Patronum.

  • (notes) I decided to take lowered firearms for Animagus, and dropped the Op Shotgun for a more archaic Crossbow

Okay. Still a few things need to happen here.

Once again you're going to need to justify the crossbow. In some ways a hunting shotgun is easier to justify—lots of British out in the countryside own double-barreled shotguns. A crossbow is considerably rarer, and he'll need a justification for how to acquire it.

"Magical arrow" is going to be entirely up for you to decide, though bearing in mind that you'll need to base everything off canon magic, that may be a little difficult. To be honest I can't see that much use for it outside of limited situations. On the other hand, visit the Weasleys' store to figure out some ideas.

Fair warning, the skill to create Portkeys will come in handy, but it's pretty heavily restricted.

Lastly, for the sake of neatness, can you try to post with consistent capitalization? I don't mind the occasional error, but only as long you make an effort to make it all readable.

Reposting signup with a few retcons I've made for realism and other reasons; this is mostly for future reference:

  • Name: James Damon
  • Nationality: British
  • Gender: Male
  • Rank: Staff Sergeant
  • Appearance: Caucasian, Red hair, green eyes. 36 years old, slightly built but still bulked up.
  • Backstory: An SAS trained sniper, James was seconded to the R&U team in the early stages of the conflict.
  • Attire: Third Generation Crye Combat Uniform in MultiCam, Asolo Fugitive GTX boots, tan baseball cap.
  • Weapons: Heckler and Koch HK417 (16" barrel) with Schmidt & Bender 1.1–4 x 24 Zenith Short Dot LE riflescope, Harris-type folding bi-pod, CAA FVG-5 forgrip and optional suppressor and AN/PEQ-15 Infra-red illuminator, SIG-Sauer P226R with SureFire X300 Weaponlight and optional suppressor.
  • Equipment: Smoke green MSA Paraclete SOHPC plate carrier fitted with a black chest mounted Blackhawk SERPA holster. Tan ops-core FAST Ballistic helmet may be worn in lieu of the ball cap depending on operational needs.

Looks like I need to do the same. That alternate timeline threw off a few things.

I was considering editing something to factor in the alternate time-line from the RP Wysp had created.

It's the Operation Koshchei RP he made.

Warren has a son; he's apparently running around Eastern Europe, spying and such.

Story-wise? Yeah, I actually wrote his existence a while back when I was creating Warren's character.

  • Attire: Jeans and a T-shirt mainly

  • Spell-bar: Portkeys, Confundus, Finite-Incantartum, Expecto-Patronum.
  • (Notes) I fixed up the capitalization issues and made some changes to the weapons section as well as adding to the backstory

Heck it's even justafiable in-cannon by the fact that only the arrowheads are Portkeys so that the character can handle them w/o getting ported away.

That's an...interesting idea. As an RP'er I like it for creative Loophole Abuse. (I don't see that as a bad thing—as Harry Dresden pointed out, birds and airplanes work by exploiting a loophole involving air pressure.)

Also on W.O.M.B.A.T., it is possible that releasing a Portkey before arriving at one's destination may result in serious injury or death.
As a GM I will rule that those arrows will be rather finicky and prone to interdiction; also, making one takes a little time. (Tapping an arrowhead and saying "Portus" will create a relatively unreliable Portkey going to locations unknown.) Also, it's technically illegal, which will discourage spamming of it.

Otherwise, it looks fine.
