Funny thing is, the game actually got picked back up for a Wii Ware release after playsim started handling things. I think there's a German version waiting to be approved.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Sounds like someone's been a bit spoiled by Steam
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadYup So when this might get potential Wiiware/Steam release?
I've thought about it and I don't think I'll stream La Mulana after all. La Mulana is one of those games that imo is most fun without spoiling yourself, and I've yet to complete the game. Plus, with how tricky some of the puzzles can be, I'm not sure how exciting it would be to watch me flounder about on a stream.
I WILL play the hell out of my copy though.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft insteadGoddamn, the new Bahamut is tough as balls. I had to skip fighting him right away and get the flares and another life jewel before I could even stand a chance.
So nobody knows?
Do you know whether this game will get steam release?
Never thought I'd see the day of an uncancelled Wii Ware release. Picked up by a different publisher, eh?
Don't worry too much about everything, all right?Wohoo :D
I'm still hoping for steam release
^^ Woohoo!!!
Come to think of it...is La-Mulana one of the biggest metroidvania games in existence?

I did it. I finally beat Hell Temple in the remake. And my mind has suffered for it.

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Is it extra DLC or does it come with the game?
It's already built into the game. Because the reason it was DLC was because they ran out of room on the WiiWare version. (The game was over 40 MB, Hell Temple and Boss Rush had to be cut to make it fit.)
Oh, the WiiWare version finally got released. There's no DLC though. I think one of the problems in getting the game released (Other than Nicalis being terrible) was the fact that Nintendo refused to let people pay for such torture.

What. Oh wait that was joke right?
Also would have been nice to know that it was released four days ago

Well, I guess I can't blame Nintendo for that. Thanks, Ninty.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.No, Nintendo actually had problems with Hell Temple from what I've heard. They didn't want people paying money just to go through a really frustrating place.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!So even Nintendo couldn't deal with the sheer obtuseness and difficulty?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987I'm guessing they missed the point of this game entirely.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Wait, then why the heck they allowed Megaman games and their dlc for wiiware to be released?...
Nintendo of America seems to suck
My bro picked this up. Just today, he was having a real hard time with the new maze in the illusion section. I haven't even played the game, yet I was the one who figured out the trick behind it. The solution was almost identical to the 1st Twilight (1st murder scenario, which was a "closed room scenario") of the 3rd novel in Umineko No Naku Koro Ni. The chain of illusion takes the form of an illusionary ring.
Game is now released in gog and gamer's gate.
Got it through gog
I will get on Go G as soon as possible. Something about it makes me wanna play it even with the freeware version lying in my hard drive.
> gog.com La-Mulana
> only US$9.99
:D!
> soundtrack sample
D:...only a sample???
If I buy from Playism do I get the whole soundtrack?
YES YES YES SOMEONE ELSE FINALLY SAID THIS TOO

It is.
I just got back from my trip and I still have my Sacred Stones Draft in the works, but I would LOVE to try and stream this game later on tonight or next week. We'll see.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft instead
