In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

Finally got around to listening to 'Born This Way', and I'm sorry, You Tube commenters, but it does sound like "Express Yourself". Not enough to be a ripoff, but enough to know it wasn't done in a vacuum, either.
Had a long day at work today, but also had Thai for lunch which was nice.

I'm in your fanfiction, correcting your spelling.@Anon: It's not so much that people talk about it, but well...when you listen to people gush about stuff, you feel like whatever they are gushing is God's gift to humans. So, you end up a little bit dissapointed when you realize it isn't Firefly
It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.@mellon: NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA
@Everyone: And yet I still can't convince any of you to check out People in Rubber Suits fighting.
INT is knowing a tomato is a fruit. WIS is knowing it doesn't belong in a fruit salad. CHA is convincing people that it does.Ironically, wasn't Firefly pretty much everywhere at one time or another?
@Kinkajou: I was born a die hard Power Rangers fan, mate. Then again, haven't checked the other shows...
@Anon: I know, right?

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.Sentai is typically better, juan. Especially the newest one.
Also check out Kamen Rider for bug-men on bikes (and variations on the theme thereof).
INT is knowing a tomato is a fruit. WIS is knowing it doesn't belong in a fruit salad. CHA is convincing people that it does.I used to love PR.
It's, weirdly, among the few things from childhood I haven't "rediscovered" or retained an interest in.
I've watched the ocassional Kamen Rider. Dubbed. In Spanish. Now you can see why I lost interest in KR...:P
It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.'Kay. Bedtime now.

月を見るたび思い出せ@ Kink: The album seems to be lacking a few songs >:O

INT is knowing a tomato is a fruit. WIS is knowing it doesn't belong in a fruit salad. CHA is convincing people that it does.Concur with ye, Kinkster.

INT is knowing a tomato is a fruit. WIS is knowing it doesn't belong in a fruit salad. CHA is convincing people that it does.@Vandro: I have pretty much zero knowledge of Toku. I've only seen a couple of eps because it seemed like Power Rangers, I eanted to catch up, and it turned out to not be it.
It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.I have W already.
Turning in early tonight.

Holy hell, it's 2:30 AM already? I don't have to be up until 9:30ish (doctor appointment today), but still! Barglebaglebalrg.
Off to bed with me! Nighty-night!
online since 1993 | huge retrocomputing and TV nerd | lee4hmz.info (under construction) | heapershangout.comMorning, guys.
Let's see how I'll manage without coffee.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection! This was on dA's front page today. My response is; who really cares what computer's depicted.
(Ironically, this comes a few days after I wonder why a lot of TV and movie characters seem to use Macs, when they're not really that common in the real world)
^So now when lee goes to bed you get up?
