Back to that To Love Ru crossover that was mentioned a few pages back. Can anyone imagine the shear amount of crazy unleashed if Lala and Hakase collaborated on something? My money's on some kind of machine that makes two people swap inhibitions. then they test it out on Paru and Yami. Chaos and explosions ensue
It was more like a large hunk of iron in the shape of a sword.@Arha My main reason for that theory is that no human has ever demonstrated the ability to create a fully functioning dimension like that, not even Nagi, who's repeatedly established to be the most powerful human alive. Another thing is that Rakan is at a roughly Nagi-tier level of power, yet the Lifemaker was strong enough to create him, along with the rest of Mundus Magicus. Despite that, Nagi defeated the Lifemaker, so the Lifemaker's ability to create a world like that could be due to his racial traits rather than raw power level. If it was nothing but pure magical energy, he would have squashed Nagi.
@Noobguy: If Paru ever got Yami's abilities, the whole world is screwed. Possibly in a literal sense.
Reaction Image Repository@Japanese Teeth And you know this how? Negi recalled reading a paper on the instability of artificial dimensions, which rather argues that Mundus Magicus is not the only one known to scholarly mages, and thus not the only one created, though I expect it is the largest. The only sources we have, however, is Ken's own published work.
We can't even appeal to the fairly extensive Japanese folklore involving kitsune realms, not knowing how much Ken has taken from that.
Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity. — George S. Patton*reads spoilers*
*dies of glee*
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. The Dragon Palace at the bottom of the sea apparently exists, so the Magic World isn't unique. Creating worlds or zones like that is probably difficult but not impossible for mages in general.
Also, being at the same tier doesn't mean equal or close power. Takamichi and Godel are on the same tier as Rakan, but quite a bit weaker. Evangeline seems stronger than Rakan by a large amount and Nagi is probably equal to her in power. Also, it's not like the Lifemaker directly creates every inhabitant of the magical world.
Edit: No point spoilering this, actually.

I guess you're right. I was aware of other mages' abilities to create artificial dimensions, but from what I know none of them are nearly as extensive as Mundus Magicus, so that if one mage created the whole thing he must have some sort of special ability. Eh, it was just a WMG to begin with. I guess I didn't think it through enough.
I still think there's a chance that the Lifemaker isn't human, though. Or at the very least, he has some sort of special traits; we know that magic cancel got passed down through his family after all.
Reaction Image RepositorySince Negi still has nine years to stop the catastrophe, and since these things are always solved at the last possible moment, is anyone else seeing a Time Skip coming in the series? Maybe right after the Mundus Magicus arc is over?
Or something is going to happen that greatly reduces the time available I mean, if Fate rejects Negi's offer to work together, who knows how long it could take to get everything fixed. Not to mention that there might be some other force at work that wants Mundus Magicus destroyed.
A Time Skip would certainly be an interesting direction for the series; we'd finally get to see what happens when Negi hits puberty.
Reaction Image RepositoryMy guess is the hooded figure person is another time traveler who came to ensure the world goes kablooie... preferably now [wmg

Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Holy crap I never noticed that before. Somebody add that to the Foreshadowing page.
Reaction Image RepositoryMan now I look at it the whole Eva fight he is wearing that shirt.[1]
yeah it was bad before but this one just takes the cake with him flat announcing it to fate's face
the details of chao's origin story in the spoilers are huge mages having been forced to survive without their magic turn to magitek or just tech (since Hakasa was supose to have made alot of the Magitek) to survive and are forced to duke it out with earth probably using normal tech. somehow Negi 9 years from now is supose to be trapped on Mars as well (probably trying to save it) the rest of Ala Alba will probably come too. gd Mind Blown 9 years though seems rather far for a time skip (negi would be 20-22 and all the other girls would be 25 a 5 year timeskip would be better), if it comes to that I see Tsukuyomi as the real big bad... she is sliding that way.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!It could be just the opposite, though. Maybe Chisame's so unaffected by CM because, since she's such a perpetual grouser, there's no alternate reality it could come up with that she wouldn't obsessivlely find fault with.
^ Possibly, but judging from some of the facial expressions Chisame pulls during the chapter◊, I'm thinking she was told what most of us suspect: that she actually loves her life now, complete with magic and weirdness.
You wouldn't care what people thought about you if you knew how seldom they did.Double post, sorry

Share it so that people can get into this conversation, 'cause we're not the only ones who think like this.Forget a Time Skip arc. Ken's always wanted to make a straight-up shounen action series, right? Calling it now: a Time Skip sequel that takes place after MSN concludes. I'm even more sure of this than my "Shiizuna=Arika" WMG.
Share it so that people can get into this conversation, 'cause we're not the only ones who think like this.First, since I didn't put it before, I want to say that Akamatsu turning Makie's "lack of worries" from the confessional into a plot point is freaking awesome. Damn, he's really good at that.
Second, I understand that Negi appears to have a lot of time on his hands (9 years is pretty long), but is a Time Skip really necessary. Does he really have to finish it at the last possible minute, even if that means making him around 20 years old? It sounds like he has a way to fix everything; can't he just act immediately?
I'm sorry if I sound a lil' bitchy, but I don't see how Negima Shippuden is the logical continuation.
well Time skips have appeared in a ton of different series DBZ and Nanoha for ones that spring to mind that worked really well... we are forgetting something 9.5 mars years or 9.5 earth years?
Time seems to flow differently in the magic world only like half as fast so it would really be like 5 years on earth, which would be the perfect number really Negi would be 15ish and the others would be just graduating high school, off to save the world.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!double postin for big news 297 is out last day one manga.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Somehow Zazie's "ignorance is bliss" makes me think that WAS actually Konoka's dream.
When was onemanga supposed to stop hosting?

Congratulations! you got me to post. I lurk all the time so this is rare.I think it's quite likely that is Konoka's dream. IMO, Setsuna's supposed to be the one where she and Konoka are playing as children. Oh well, more fuel to Alternate Character Interpretation. Gotta love Akamatsu. XD
The two Zazie's being the same person split in half somehow is the theory I've been assuming to be true. And yes, there is a demon plane, Moroborgan (Mr. Skeleton Demon) mentioned he wanted to go home because all his fights are scary.
Tell me, why do you think the Lifemaker isn't human? That would make all his descendants partially nonhuman as well.
