You then have to charge it right afterwards!

Even with these awkward wings, dyed with images that seem to stay. I'm sure we can fly, on my love! 3DS Friend Code: 2809-9138-8756Totally different direction than I thought - I thought the 4DS was going to work on a fourth spatial dimension. Gaming has too few tesseracts.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. The thing is, the fourth dimension has always been time. At least, that's what I've always heard.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Well, the simple answer is, "fourth dimension" doesn't have a fixed meaning. Technically speaking, it's not like we numbered dimensions one through three either. Some people latch onto the idea of time being a dimension, and it certainly is easy to understand time as such, but it's not the only concept referred to as a fourth dimension.
The major difference is that a fourth dimension to space is only theoretical at this time, while time is very much an observable effect. Consequently, spacetime is much easier to comprehend than a hypercube. That said, each are equally validly described as "four-dimensional."
As a side note, of course, the two different dimensions that one could call the fourth dimension are not mutually exclusive. Good thing too; you need to have something to introduce for the Nintendo 5DS.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Well, Cardgames on Motorcycles, obviously. :P
Could someone maybe walk me thru the trasnfer process? I don't want to accidentally my data
When I start the transfer process and Im using a microSD card from my old 3ds, do I need to start with the microsd card that came with the new 3ds inside the new 3ds, or can i take that out?
I think you have to keep that one in the New 3DS. And if you're using a microSD card on your old 3DS already, do the transfer normally until it shows you the three transfer options. Go with the third one (the "Transfer stuff via PC" one, if I remember correctly), where the system will then ask you if you're currently using an SD or miniSD card. Click 'No'. Then only the licenses and your eShop history will be transferred, and after everything has completely finished transferring, you can just shut down the New 3DS and put the microSD card from your old 3DS into it.

Alrght thanks. Now the only trouble I'm having is establishing a damn internet connection so I can start the transfer
In other news, I broke down and put in a preorder for Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. I think the clerk at Best Buy had no idea what game I was talking about until I showed her the product page on my phone with the PLU.
How do I use amiibo with the new 3ds? Am I supposed to wait for an update?
It's under the settings option in the upper left of the touch screen.
Thats where I looked and I didn't find anything
It's under the button in the upper left that looks like a house and wrench. I just checked mine.
I know, so did I, and its not there. Did you do this after the transfer? I still havent been able to do mine because the It department is closed tonight and cant fix my internet until tomorrow
I know my N 3 DS made me do a system update before it allowed me to transfer from my old 2DS. Maybe the amiibo option is included in that update.
SHIT! It didnt work right! I lost all the data on streetpass plaza. And Who knows how much dlc data I lost. B Luuuh. Idk what to do now
So it looks like Nintendo is doing another Best Buy event this weekend. Presumably to coincide with Pax East, this event is centered around trying out the New Nintendo 3DS. I have no reason to attend due to already having one but I might swing by to try and snag a few goodies as well as play with fellow 3DS owners since I'm literally within walking distance from a participating store. Smash Fest was pretty fun, got to chit chat with a lot of cool and interesting people while waiting in line and played some Mario Kart 7.

Shit. I'm going on vacation again on yet another limited event.
The only Best Buy near me that's holding the event is in Tampa and that's, like, two hours away. Just like with Smash Fest. ;-;
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Hey guys, I REALLY NEED HELP HERE.
I just got my New 3DS because my old 2DS wouldn't recharge anymore due to a broken thingy. So when I tried to transfer, my 2DS went flat.
Is there any other way to get my games back? I have a Nintendo ID, but its on the (now dead) 2DS. I also lost the receipt for it and the serial number. Plus, since I'm 16 and Australian, I can't call customer service on the weekends.
Only one non-rhectorical question is remaning...
ARE MY GAMES FUCKED?!
Maybe? Can your 2DS be charged up?
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogGet a new adapter, plug it into the 2DS and transfer again? I don't think anything is deleted until everything is safely transferred to the other system.
