I think you're only the second Nintendo fan I've ever seen who didn't like Pokémon as a series.
The first was someone on Miiverse who was whining about Greninja getting in Smash.
That wasn't a knock at you. Total Sincerity Mode here.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI like Fire Emblem Awakening, as it did save my 3DS from being left to collect dust.
I can see why people don't like Pokemon. There really hasn't been too many changes through the years and the story is kinda meh.
I'unno, X/Y had some pretty big additions. Yes, the story was awful, but with the sole exception of Gen V, nobody plays it for the story.
As for Awakening, I'm stuck on Donnel's subchapter. I can't get him to stop dying.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — Ultimatepheerpair him up with kelam or something. someone who can take a hit but wont one-hit kill.
That won't get him enough experience to level up by the end of the chapter, though, will it?
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerYou might have to do it a few times. Only need 2 or 3 baddies.
Oh really when?well its up to your own judgement when the best time to let donnel attack is. fact of the matter is, most of the time donnel isnt safe. until you can engineer a situation where he can attack and kill without fear of being killed himself you should stick him behind kellam and let him get exp with the occasional bonus hit.
Make sure to get him though. I'm replaying the game and he's an absolute monster.
My solution for Donnel was to corner an archer and then just have Donnel wail on him.

Theathrythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call arrived in the post today. Excellent game, with wonderfully responsive rhythm gameplay, an absolutely massive library of music and chock full of nostalgia. Recommended to all fans of rhythm games in general and Final Fantasy-games in particular.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureOld. Still hope the west gets a similar commercial when it comes over.
princess zelda's pink tri-force sweater thing upsets me.

Really? It seems less out there than most of the other clothing from that commercial to me.
yeah i dunno. its the only one that really bothers me.
Perhaps you're so used to seeing her in royal(-looking) clothes, that seeing her in more casual wear just seems rather jarring?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.well tetra didnt bother me so i dont think so...
Tetra also looks nothing like Zelda.
They have a different hairstyle. That's about it.
...well, one also had tanned skin where the other didnt.

Between the tan, the wonky hairstyle, and the completely different outfit, she looks no more like Zelda than Link does.
She different enough from the other Zeldas that it doesn't surprise me that people see her as a different character truthfully.
One Strip! One Strip! So I finally got smash bros, and my c-stick broke!
Already have Mario Kart. Dream Team sounds decent. I actually want Dead or Alive Dimensions but nobody in my area seems to have it.
