I generally prefer physical but I'm cool with digital.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm still physical at the moment, though that may change in the future. I do feel there's a decent chance digital 3DS games will be able to be transferred to the 4DS, considering what Nintendo did with the Wii and Wii U.
Also, I still have all my 1DS cards in their own boxes. So yeah, hardly any place to put physical 3DS games.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI'm a collector so I still prefer Physical copies of the games but I'm not opposed to purchasing digital games. I only purchase Digital copies if 1) it is a game I can't find in stores or 2) if it is a game like Animal Crossing where it would be better if it was digital so you always have it with you.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventurePhysical for me. Because 1) can't be asked to upgrade the small SD card that has all my save files. 2) I do not really like the eshop and Nintendo's link-to-system way of doing things. I have lost systems before. I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE MY GAMES WITH THEM! (Though considering the save file thing...)
I do a mix of physical and digital. The games I really want to have with me at all times are digital, while the rest are physical.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!I usually buy physical, unless it'd be easier to get it digitally.
Nintendo sells digital copies here at their fixed RRP always.
I can buy games retail four and half times cheaper than their digital price.
Oh, Nintendo....
DumboI seen sales for some digital copies that I can't even find the physical version.
That's not always true. I got Inazuma Eleven for €8, when in store it would have cost €35. Even when the game wasn't on special, it was still €15 cheaper.
I've never seen a sale that good on 3DS :/ Do you recommend any site that posts them? I don't use my 3DS a huge amount and the store is so slow I don't look much.

DumboI just check in from time to time (usually once a week) to see if I can spot a good deal, and I've got some great stuff cheap from it.
Bear in mind that first party games almost never go on sale.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Indeed. It is probably better just to pick them up when they launch.
Seen Super Street Fighter IV 3D for a price of 25€ not too long ago.
Everything Mario related was still priced at 40-50€, even Super Mario 3D Land, a launch title.
...When did the 3DS come out in Europe?
Wikipedia says the 3DS was released in Europe on Mar 25, 2011. Initial release in Japan was on Feb 26, N. America on Mar 27, Australia and NZ on March 31st.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpI've seen first party games go on sale plenty of times, though they usually only happen during the promotion of other first party titles.
And yeah, after a while, you won't see some of them getting price drops much at all.
3D Land wasn't a launch title. If it was the 3DS wouldn't have had such big Launch problems.
So 3D Land was nowhere near a launch title. It was part of the Golden Trinity that lifted the system's fortunes that holiday season, along with Mario Kart 7 and Monster Hunter Tri G in Japan.
Wait, a Nintendo system launched without a Mario game? Weird.
Well, the point still stands that nearly 3 year old first party games haven't gotten price drops. Most games do after their first year.
Actually, I'm fairly sure both 3D Land and MK 7 were on sale this Christmas.
A lot of first-party stuff went on sale after E3.

I prefer physical personally.
