So, today I put $30 on the 3Ds eShop today. With it, I've bought two games so far; Shovel Knight and the first Shantae.

Does anyone here have any recommenations for what I should get with the rest of money (Which is about $8.40)?

Do you like Zelda? One of those games would be worth the investment.

If this is a bug that's letting me post here, I'm so sorry, I don't want to ban evade, but I need urgent help. Please forgive me.

My 3DS's headphone jack is broken, and I need to fix it before tonight to drown out the sound of the fireworks. I can't bear to listen to them after I was almost killed by a misfire last year, but I can't play with the speakers on because why punish everybody else?

I promise to continue obeying my ban after the issue is resolved, but this is something that I truly need help with.

You have tried pushing the plug in all the way, right? And also trying rotating it to see if the volume improves?

Sometimes it's just stubborn like that.

[up]I have tried that. No good, the speakers just kept blasting away.

...though the fact that I'm on a different device now makes me wonder if I am unbanned after all, and it's not just a glitch.

Why not just plug headphones into your computer or whatever device you're using now and listen to some of your favorite songs or watch some anime or TV or movie you really like?

[up]Someone suggested that to me in a PM. That's what I'm going to do.

So I decided to spend my last 9 eShop dollars on Super Mario Bros. 2 (always a classic), and Mole Mania (a really fun little puzzle game). Shovel Knight and Shantae are also awesome.

What I don't get is that why there aren't any GBA or SNES games in the Virtual Console section. Some Megagenesisdrive games would be nice too, since they already have Gamegear stuff there.

Heck, download versions of old DS games would be nice too, as they are getting hard to find.

Because those are on the Wii U. The 3DS, as we know from the Ambassador games, has trouble doing anything other than a straight emulation of GBA games (it even overrides the automatic sleep on closing the system), and SNES games are very similar to those.

Last I checked, the GBA games aren't even actually being emulated, but running on the GBA parts in the console.

Eh, not sure why it shouldn't work. I mean, the 3DS is a more powerful system, so why shouldn't it be able to? They made GB and NES games compatible, so it couldn't be that hard?

[up]You're making it sound like as if there are GBA games on the 3DS, when there aren't.

Unless Nintendo is hating Europe again, like us not having Netflix on the 3DS. Or like a quarter of the games I see Miiverse comunities for on the states side, but not in my e-shop.

I just checked the e-shop. Wanted a system update first, but even after that there are no GBA games anywhere.

My suspicions are confirmed: all publishers hate anywhere that is not north america or japan.

We need to breed more nerds around here for publishers to take notice. We have money too, you know! Probably more than the falling economy of the US!

Eh? Europe also had the ambassador program. There wasn't any regional favouritism going on.

It's simply that you can't get them if you weren't part of said program.

But there are GBA games on the 3DS, you didn't find them in the eshop because they are exclusives for the people who adopted the 3DS before it's original pricedrop.

And here I thought "Ambassador" was either a series or developer I never heard of...

I obtained my 3DS just last year, so no wonder I had no clue about this.

Dragon Quest X is coming for the 3DS. It will not be in stereoscopic 3D because the game will be using the same cloud system as the smartphone version, so it is being streamed to the 3DS rather than being ran natively. The retail version is just an empty box with a bunch of download codes.

Is there even any word of any version of X getting localized at all? People were expecting the Wii U version to be localized, but I haven't heard anything on it for a while now.
