Yeah, I like hoodies.
...What? I don't need to say anything more at that.
My favourite sort of overshirt, too. I like ones with a decent sized hood; some hoodies only have it as a sort of decoration, meant to lay on the back.
Also: wearing other people's hoodies. Doesn't even have to be your boy/girlfriend's, just any hoodie that isn't yours so it smells like someone else and feels well-loved. Unless they smell bad, obviously.
I like wearing hooded sweatshirts or (rather one or two in particular). However, I dislike calling them "hoodies" for some reason. I might associate them with something bad. I am not quite sure what my reason is there.
Anyway, I especially like having sleeves that are long enough to accommodate my hands for added warmth and comfort. I often find such sleeves to help make it easier to have my hands situated like so.
I also think they can be quite versatile. Once I used a hooded sweatshirt in the place of sheets for example.

"It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt." - Some guy with a snazzy hat.I really don't like hoodies. They strike me as the kind of thing people wear when they don't want to think about their presentation. Tend towards being very baggy and not very form-fitting, so many people, even fit people, come off as blobs in them.
Swordsman Troper — Reclaiming The Blade — Watch^ There are slim hoodies. Oversized ones are more comfortable, but I only wear them at home.

Hoodies are the single greatest garment ever created.
IJBM lives on here! Sign up!I also like them.
The hood is important to me, as I put it on first, then slip my arms into the sleeves, then put the hood down if applicable. I think this is by far the best way to put them on.
Hoodies are a once-or-twice a week thing for me. Routine and comforting, but I wouldn't wear one every day. Except when it gets into like the 10s, then basically my only way to keep warm is double hoodies every day.
Relatedly, sweatpants. Sooo nice.
Hoodies were good, until I actually began to care how my hair looked, then they were soso. But then, zipper hoodies, no need to pull them over my head and I can take them on an off as I want.

I don't understand why. Also, Central Avenue, what do you mean by "zip up your hoodie"? I've never heard of a hoodie having a zipper before...

Most hoodies have zippers. Such was not always the case, but is now.
I have a ton of them. Love them to death.
go ahead and do every stupid thing you can imagineI always defined things like that as "sweatshirt jackets." So... yeah.
Hoodies are awesome, yes.

By thoughts, I might infiltrate the universe, and marvel upon enigmas of human society; yet in the end, I'm but the fool in front of a PC.Hoodies are like wearing a hug. I concur with everything said in this thread.
I don't know why, * but I find wearing a hoodie to be just so damn comforting. It's like a blanket that you wear like clothes! Too cold in your house? Zip up your hoodie and relax in your computer chair! Too chilly outside? Zip up your hoodie and go for a nice relaxing walk! You don't even have to wear the hood—it's just there so you can call it a "hoodie" instead of a "sweatshirt".
