I dread this is already setting up CF Extend. If Variable Heart is as long as Remix Heart, then it'd end around a good time to announce an expansion for CF.

If there is a CF EXTEND, I honestly hope it's essentially a Dream Match. Just throw all story explanations for the newcomers out, take them from all the spinoff media if it makes sense or not, and do extra Gaiden and What If Stories for bonuses.

Meh, I think Mai's cool enough so there's nothing wrong with more of her.

Aye Arc, quit teasing and put Mai in CF already. :(

And the depressing part is that I know more people that are going to be excited just to have more fap material (No offense to those here who actually did like the series btw)

Well Deko was the one who wrote Remix Heart(and the Alter Memory), so knowing they'll have a "better" writer is a welcome change.

Also I just learned Deko also wrote a lot of the gag ends too?? Her sins just keep on piling.

RE: Mai's new outfight: You all seem to forget this. Also, in regards to switching to a spear, maybe the Hazukis are supposed to be Jack of All Stats in regards to weapons usage.

Oh I remember that alright. And I remember thinking the same thing about it back then as I do now.

The choice of weapon is one thing, but that outfit... Kokonoe was right, BlazBlue is looking more like an H-game with each scanty woman introduced. Litchi, I get — she's a doctor, and even when she has to fight she gets the most obstructive piece of clothing out of the way. Makoto, I get — she herself said she dresses for mobility, and since she's in Intel there's more than one application for that. Bullet, I get — she was raised by an all-male squadron and may be oblivious to such things. Nine, I get — she's a witch, and she's fucked in the head, so fashion sense isn't going to be high on her list of priorities. But THIS abomination? Now don't get me wrong, I don't hate Mai on principle, but Mori and Sumeragi need to direct that blood to their brains.

The open back on pre-CP Noel is one thing, but a good shot to the strap and a strong breeze yields an instant wardrobe malfunction.
What the hell is Mai supposed to be wearing on her pelvic region? More importantly, IS she wearing anything down there? It's kind of ambiguous just how much it covers. Also, do we need to see the upper third of her ass? With Makoto, we don't have a choice; there's the fact she has a tail. Also, upper third of her thighs. Just no.
High heels in a melee combat uniform is a thing that needs to STOP. This is what has me concerned most — unless you're on a horse or a bike (the former of which I doubt is a thing in this series), you're better off without them. I don't care that the point can pierce a man's skull with the right amount of force; if you're in a fight with a melee weapon, you need heavy protection, or you need mobility, and this ensemble provides neither.

Such practical armor, wow.

I only now just noticed how it literally exposes the entire top half of her ass. Seriously, they don't even have a good reason for this ugly ass outfit, its just to make male readers horny and this fucking thing's gonna be canon like Remix Heart anyway. That and playing the generic Naginatas Are Feminine trope straight instead of letting her keep the dual swords style (which you don't often see on women) is just dumb.

Seriously fuck the new outfit. I know japan can be assbackwards about women but Mori and Sumeragi should just come right out and say they only see women as sex objects hence the shitty outfits.

The irony is that Sumeragi is a Yaoi Fan lol. She's just doing her job.
