Stop Mori 2015, he was ogling at the fact that Mai's boobs are bigger than Makoto's. Inb4 all of Makoto's previous relevance goes to Mai.

The worst part about Mai is she isn't playable yet, which means she'll be all over the promo's for the last game.

Eh, that's kinda fair; BB always prioritizes advertising the characters that are playable in the respectively recent installment the most, so it's natural that she's going to get shills up the rear if/when she does get in the game proper. Same for the Jubei that's probably actually never going to happen at this point.

Though I am sort of morbidly curious as to how she will could Celica the next game.

It's gonna happen, history says so. Jubei won't get nearly the same amount of attention because he's not a waifu. He's more likely to be Kokonoe's equivalent in the next game in respect to promotionals (if he finally gets in of course).

Noel got off pretty well, last I checked.

I don't hate any of them, I just wish they'd quit it with their favoritism and creepy waifu merch.

Hopefully, he's pretty cute and BB needs more nice guys.

If Mai ever becomes playable I'm expecting Taro to show up eventually since she has a crush on him, and that he was Jin's bodyguard in the old days.

Man, Noel was the Celica of the CS era; nobody had a nice thing to say about her lol.

it'd be nice for Jin to have an actual friend to talk to; Taro seems like the only male he doesn't dismiss like he does literally everyone else.

I liked CS Noel... In fact I liked her more than CT Noel.

I never minded Noel, just like how I don't mind Celica; I feel like the hate for both is extremely unwarranted just because they've had more attention than most of the side characters.

Of all the waifus, I mind Noel the least. In fact, she's my favorite character in the series (as the avatar would let on).

I, however, happen to loathe Celica.

Even so, BB almost feels like it's taking on a 'Waifu of the Day' thing if Mai's coming into the picture. I doubt it's really going to become like that, but I worry.

The hate does seem to be sort of a cycle like you said. Mai is now distracting people from Celica, so she's probably gonna be the new target until the final game.

Brace yourself, it feels like they are in fact gearing up for the "waifu of the day" approach, Mori on twitter recently called Noel, Celica and Mai all heroines lol.

CS- Noel becomes the focus, Jin steps as a Hero.

CP- Celica becomes the focus, Kagura debuts and steals all spotlight.

???- Mai and Taro.

Well, it's not like we didn't now Ragna was a total Butt-Monkey already.

Noel was always the heroine, though, unfortunately arguable case with CP notwithstanding.

Of course, you could throw Tsubaki in the CS section and still have it come out decently.
