The scaling is actually unimportant. What matters is <x> type of token = <y> percentage toward your next artifact level.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"It's more than just a rumor. Sargeras basically just goes "Screw this zone in particular."

This song needs more love.Putting demons in a zone that was already very eerie to begin with. Well that's just prime. x_x
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.More specifically from what has been datamined from the 7.3.2 PTR, at the last moment before we trap Sargeras he lashes out at Azeroth (maybe throws his sword?) and literally wounds the planet. Now Silithus is destroyed and the whole place is covered in the literal blood of Azeroth. Which happens to be some of the most potently magical stuff in existence. The Well of Eternity was created when the Titans stabilized a similar wound, though that one was caused by Aman'thul literally ripping Y'Shaarj out of Azeroth with his bare hand.

One thing that stuck out to me is that it looks like if Legendaries are going to be used in the next expansion, their bonuses will be strictly utility without any unambiguous DPS increases.
I think that's a very good plan since it would dramatically reduce or even eliminate "must have" Legendaries. Sure certain Legendaries might still be ideal to have on certain fights, but there shouldn't be any "this spec consistently underperforms without X Legendary" situations.
Did they make the Chromie scenario substantially harder? I wasn't having much problems before but now the bosses are doing a quarter of my health in damage.
It amuses me that on Elite with the proper items, Aethas Sunreaver becomes the God Follower. Like, he can run entire 3 follower missions by himself at 200% Success chance.
"You can reply to this Message!"I find it amusing that my followers are getting higher item levels than I have, at least until Antorus opens.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Likewise. My characters are in the late 870s/early 890s, depending on how much work I put into them
My highest is 932, roughly.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"So what you are saying is that Sargeras just accidentally improved the state of Silithus?
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I thought I'd pop back in to see what's been going on, and hoo boy, the story is going places, huh?
I hear that Xe'ra ended up not being interesting a ploy after all. That's a shame.
Yeah, that and watching some of the 'react'ors was amusing, but I can easily tell when a few of them don't really get the whys of the event.
[DATA LOST]I mean, the whys boiled down to 'the writers wanted Illidan back after we were mean to him', as far as Xe'ra's storyline went. With a special bonus round of Illidan getting to prove how cool he is, man, he doesn't need your Light blessing, man.
It's been fun.Heh, considering what I've heard from PTR....
[DATA LOST]I've made the joke before, but Illidan is the Roman Reigns of World of Warcraft.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Unfairly criticized because he's used more than <insert popular character here>?
Booked as a good guy in spite of being, at best, a self-aggrandizing bag of dicks and at worst an absolute human (elven?) bastard.
I don't object to Khadgar being overexposed for two expansions now, because Khadgar doesn't constantly wave his greatness in my face while I'm doing his busywork as he's sitting on the Vindicaar eating all the snacks.

Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. He does tend to eat all the snacks, though.
For me, it just galled that after ten years of dutiful service to Azeroth (more for my character), the Big Good showed up and scolded us like sticky-fingered toddlers who couldn't stop grabbing at shinies long enough to give Illidan a chance (to solve the Burning Legion problem by enslaving a planet and sitting around brooding on top of a civilian mass grave).
I understand that we're not the story heroes. That doesn't mean I don't want more "good work, old friend, we'll take it from here" than "move aside, you literal idiot child, and let the hero do his job".
It's been fun.Excuse me, my Lord Regent has nothing to do with this.
"You can reply to this Message!"...or anything else happening in the lore except for that one Pandaria patch

He's still done more than Baine.
This song needs more love.True, but at least Baine can be used as emergency ration.

Didn't know that about reputation tokens. Though I still wish that reaching revered or exalted would let alts earn rep faster up to that point. Together with the looong Nightfallen questline it's the biggest obstacle I'm facing for alts, artifact power isn't a problem because...
As soon as you hit 110, you automatically go to max level knowledge. Before then you earn 35-150 AP, just enough for one gold trait on one artifact, then hit the cap and the same tokens give 16 million. A handful are enough for all four traits on three weapons. It's kind of dizzying. I wish Knowledge ramped up gradually as you levelled. And the numbers are long past any hope of comprehending them. I wish they could keep the scaling more moderate, but I know why it happens.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.
