SO HOW BOUT THEM
^ HOLY CRUD, IT'S MOTHRA!
Let's play a game about Pokémon...So how about them? I think they sound like very interesting and fun games and I'm excited for my game to come in the mail! I especially like all the new type combinations, which is something I was hoping for with this new generation. It definitely sounds like these games have changed some typical things from other Pokemon games, and I'm glad they have the first gym as something other than Rock type (there's actually NO Rock-type gym this time around!).
It's awesome. It really is.
What I find to be odd is his move-gaining structure. He gains a new move precisely every 10 levels, without fail.
Well, except for level 59, when he evolves.
...but... but... dammit! I want Fire Dance!
You had just better be easy to grind to level 100, little mothy.
I have a message from another time...It's the little touches that really make me appreciate this game. The flowing petal blossoms on Route 1, water dripping from stalactites in caves, the overall smoother interface (reminds me of Colosseum/XD)...
I hear that you can actually fight one of the creators of Pokemon in this game. Is this true?
I love 90% of the new designs. And all the new features sound awesome, I wonder if I should switch out my Avatar to avoid Viewer Gender Confusion.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.^^ Haven't heard anything about that. =d
I've got a feeling the move "Power Rage" is a mistranslation. The description makes it sound more like it should be called "Rage Powder".
I have a message from another time...I like about 80% of the new designs. I'm not so big on the new dragons, but honestly I only like the Dratini line anyway.
My suitemate despises the red and blue fighters.
Huh. They made Willowisp into a TM. That's awesome.
I have a message from another time...It's been a TM for a while now.
It has? Huh.
Oh, you're right.
I like how they added Wild Bolt. Nice to see a physical Electric move that's better than Spark.
I have a message from another time...It's got that annoying effect, though. =d
I was just thinking, why don't they try using the fair use argument against Nintendo and Game Freak? Wouldn't that be feasible?
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Problem is none of the sites want to deal with a lawsuit.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.So far, it does look pretty interesting. It'll most likely be the first "main series" Pokemon game I purchase since 2002.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.I was looking at Smogon's thread on that fire moth.
I am suddenly reminded of just how much I want them to employ a rule requiring all 'mons to use movesets legal for a 'mon born in Isshu.
Because f**k Stealth Rock.
I have a message from another time...Notice how one of the later numbered 'mons looks like a King Ghidorah expy/ersatz?
Sazando?
I have a message from another time...With the Dream World abilities being overwhelming better for even the older ones and presumably incompatible with breeding, Stealth Rock will much rarer than it is now, in any case.
Looks like this'll be the bug type's generation. Fire moth and Dentula (which isn't OU material by any stretch but is more than usable to mess around in-game with) and a slew of others that don't come to mind right now. My favorite type getting all this love is just the tip of the iceberg of what I'm looking forward to.
Yep, Sazando.
Because the "5th Generation Speculation/News" is an inaccurate title for discussing games which are already out, unless you're speculating on the localization.
Warning: spoilers for the Japanese release beyond this point.
