See, this is why I had my wife move from England to be with me here, so we can avoid this problem.

Not that this stops me from explaining to people I married my wife and her time zone when I get my drink on at 11 AM.

Bluespade: Mostly this weird sci-fi-fantasy potpourri. It tends to go to the same place a lot though, ending up simultaneously too abstract and too literal. Maybe I should make a rule about that: "no more of this shit!"

I remem8er a while 8ack I used to go in a roleplay chatroom and we'd have an OOC night, and the "Next Poster game" was a thing we did a lot on OOC night. 8asically doing just a8out anything to the next poster, from piercing their nose to duct taping them to the ceiling to zapping them with a neuralizer to drinking their 8lood to tying their shoelaces together. At one point just a8out every post consisted of doing something to the next poster.

Bluespade: It might not be intuitive, but it makes sense. Talking about The Big Stuff works best when representing it through concrete actions, instead of taking a more direct route and just saying "The Big Stuff! This is BIG." Which is I think where what I was writing was starting to go.

Actually, I think this is why I like roleplaying. Having actual other people involved helps me rein it in a little. Also, dice are fun.
