Dusty seems to have come out from under the dresser and gone back under again.

I just hope she comes out on her own before bed.

Dad called, he is glad his ket is doing well and hopes Dusty will come out on her own and says I shouldn't worry.

I just don't like seeing my baby all tense. Especially when it means she sticks sharp things into my flesh.

like I seriously have battle scars from this petsitting gig.

and they are from MY OWN KET. Sweet little Dusty has gone all vicious due to the intruder.

'though she did calm down when I snuggled and shooshpapped her this morning, so hopefully I can get some more snuggling-away-from-Jinx in when Dusty comes out from under the dresser.

guess the worst case scenario is gonna be Dusty does her business under there and doesn't come out until Jinx is gone, and then gets extra loving and snuggles and becomes my usual sweet little Dusty. (Unless she comes out and acts vicious to Jinx in the middle of the night, but I'm gonna try and get her out of there and into the other room for her usual bedtime routine)

Getting a hot tub installed in my back yard right now. Well, my parents are, anyway.

I hope I do not have the dreaded STRAGGLERS today.

I am tired and kinda blah and would be tired and blah even without ket concerns most likely. Or at least somewhat tired and blah.

I just heard another small thud from upstairs.

Was it Dusty, emerging from under the dresser?

Was it Jinx, jumping off a windowsill?

Was it... both of them, hissing at one another until Dusty retreats under the dresser yet AGAIN?

I don't know and cannot find out right now due to a dude looking at postcards.

And we're closing soon anyway, provided this guy doesn't spend more than half an hour looking at postcards and no one else comes in and straggles. Wasn't the sounds of a big fight or chase or things being knocked over and broken, anyway.

I haven't seen Taken 3, and if the entire movie is like this I wouldn't want to either.

Dusty is still under the dresser. I'd put some food under there and she nommed a little but she is growling every so often (namely when Jinx is in view).
