Just flunked a Magic tournament. :/ First opportunity to friggin' play this semester. I had one match outside the tournament (Booster draft) in which I was actually doing okay, but it had to be adjourned. I also managed to stall one into a draw.

Just met some dude at a club meeting who's started on Discworld and reads Neil Gaiman, taught him how to play MTG with spare decks *

, and found out he reads TV Tropes.

I finally found somebody to talk to about all this shit! I mean, I already know other folks with common interests and all, but still, this is like the friggin' jackpot! (Well, okay, I don't read Neil Gaiman except when he and Sir Terry team up, but I was thinking about trying American Gods at some point.)

Just played Green against Blue. Vitu Gazi Guildmage + Horncaller's Chant = RHINOPOCALYPSE! I love Horncaller's Chant.

Hell, the two wound up with so many hitpoints and so little damage, I figured Green would end up getting carded.

EDIT: I haven't played Skyrim in probably a month, yet I still have the theme stuck in my head. :/ Testament to the skill of whoever the hell composed it, I guess.
