Poor Sanji. His "Year" REALLY hasnt been kind to him. AT. ALL.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Guess that depends on if they kept focus on him when the Germa showed up.
But it was to Brook, and that's all that matters to me.

‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’Well, we learned a bit more about his background, but in terms of fighting, I'd agree that Sanji ain't done much.
Then again, seeing a male character as a Distressed Dude isn't nearly as common as seeing a female one as a Damsel in Distress, so hey, I suppose it's different.
One Strip! One Strip!I think you meant was. Sorry for correcting but that typo ruins your awesome post.
BROOK WAS THE REAL DEAL!
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.I don't think this was ever about Sanji's abilities as a fighter. We already knew he was a fighter and a tough one at that.
This is like Enies Lobby and Usopp. If it was just about him fighting he'd have taken down a member of CP9 and that'd be that. His development was centered on emphasizing the skills he had besides combat and why they're important after sending him to rock bottom. His critical moments were his Tower of Justice sniping, gaining the giants as allies, and pumping up Luffy for the final blow on Lucci.
As far as that goes, Sanji led the charge to recreate in a single night a cake that had taken weeks (?) originally, recreating the recipe perfectly and improving on it when the only exposure he'd had to it prior was the Tea Party, and it sent Big Mom into sugar Nirvana.
Their success post-Tea Party can be traced to his successfully wooing Pudding. He blew the mind of the girl who had the night before been gleefully preparing to blow his brains out.
And all that came about because, as much as he probably wanted to, he simply couldn't leave people in a lurch, even if he despised the majority of them.
Sanji isn't some gruff dude with firey kicks. He's a chef, a Casanova of varying success, and beneath that gruffness a kind person who won't leave someone close to him hanging if he can help it, even if it would be preferable, even smarter, to do so.
That is what this arc has emphasized about Sanji to me.

I love this post! You are right. I do love that Sanji got to save the day in a way that didnt involve fighting.
Also the last sentence in your post is kinda wonky english-wise. Or maybe Im not reading it right due to not being a native speaker.
EDIT: Oh you edited it! Great!

I thought Sanji was just a stupid pervert.
Then again, while you're not wrong (though some people are a little annoyed at Pudding's super fast Heel–Face Turn since it's probably reminds them of what happened with Violet), I expect that all of this will be forgotten the moment Sanji does something perverted again, as if there's one thing I've learned, it's that it's become something of a Fandom Berserk Button that tends to drown out any other character traits.
Good speech though, and since I'm usually full of shit anyway, I'm hoping history repeats on this one.
One Strip! One Strip!Pudding is different from Viola IMO because Violet was a hero incognito - Pudding's still mostly a villain but she wants to help someone who happened to be nice to her. I'm interested in seeing whether she sticks around in a "girl back home" sort of role for Sanji as Kaya is for Usopp.

The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."I want Katakuri and Pudding should have a secret support group where they open up about their physical features that got them bullied as kids. Come on Pudding would be a better little sister to Katakuri than Flampe would.
Still hope this ends with Sanji giving Pudding a big smile and telling her to fuck off.

I'll give Sanji this, he's at least not a hypocrite with his chivalry. He even refused to fight Zombie Lola, the hideous upright warthog woman.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."The fact that Penguin Zombie Sanji would stack Robin was the sign her was now fully obedient to Moria.
With Sanji, that could have an entirely different meaning from what...
<Bricked into oblivion>
One Strip! One Strip!Stupid phone autocorrect. What is a Sani supposed to be?
The true form of Sanji.
Funny thing, I got the same problem, but I corrected it.
This means I've surpassed you Arha.
One Strip! One Strip!Your ability to catch typos in unmatched.
That's his Devil Fruit ability.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."My typo typo no mi can't be defeated.
I can even swim in the ocean. That's how powerful I am.
One Strip! One Strip! Was that on purpose?

‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’Sauzando Sani, the ship of the Mugiwara Kaizoku-dan.
@Person who mentioned Zombie Sanji hitting Robin. Well, its SOMETHING. At least Oda allowed Robin to get hurt.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.So I missed like 20-30 pages of thread time, but apparently just 2 chapters of manga.
Yeah... I'm ready for this island to end so I can just binge the manga a couple times a year instead.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyYou know I think Pudding got bullied for being a three eye is due to her being the only example of one. Being of a race so rare no one would encounter one.
People think that it was repetitive when it was revealed that Katakuri got the same treatment. I do think the thing is that Big Mom's dedication to a diverse world is actually a facade, when she indulges in bigoted beliefs herself.
So working under the assumption that Pedro is alive, think they'll be picking him up somehow before they leave, or will he just miraculously show up on Wano or something?
Or for the matter, what the hell is gonna happen to Peckoms? Last time we saw him he was easily subdued and they were about to gauge out his eyes and no one came to help him. There's really no reason for him to be alive either, but I find him living more likely than Pedro.
