Also I see they didn't arrest Baby 5.

And then Kaidou joins Urouge's crew.

Princess makes a lot more sense than queen.

And say what you will about Sanji but I think shades are a good look for him.

Yep. While I have no issue with Baby 5's fate myself, I do wonder if she counts as a Karma Houdini. Sympathetic past aside, she is just as guilty of many of the same crimes as the rest of the Don Quixote Family.

Damn. Kaidou looks like he could kill someone just by thinking about looking at them.

One Piece is really good at introducing imposing characters.

I just noticed in that scene where all the pirates and gladiators are sleeping they have Hakuba chained up.

Well, after all the pre-shilling him as "the strongest!!!!", I've always thought Kaido would probably be at least a partial disappointment. I was very definitely wrong.

I'm not sure what Kaido can be now. He seems to be too much sand to Luffy's truck, honestly.

Easy Redemption, from a moral perspective (compared to the government's legal perspective, which is very harsh) is a big thing in One Piece. Otherwise you think Fuji'd go after Viola too, because coerced or not, she worked for Doflamingo.

The Straw Hats' Magnetic Heroism redeemed a slave trader.

Also I can't help but notice Becky seems a bit apprehensive about becoming a princess. Heeeeeeere iiiiiiiit coooooooooomesssss.

Good to see her finally wearing clothes, too.

Oh, he's suicidal because Whitebeard is dead? I didn't get that from the mangapanda translation at all.

So he's mad that his Worthy Opponent is gone, the one person who was strong enough to hurt him. That's pretty interesting.

Slave trader?Who,where,when,why,how?

Actually, seems more like his last tentative failed and, since Whitebeard is dead, he will try the second best way and initiate a war to see if it can kill him.

I have a feeling either they're related, or from the same species, and so Moria decided to try reviving someone of legend who could give him a challenge.

Forget it. It's not clear what Kaido is angry about. It could be either Whitebeard, his last tentative, or Don Flamingo. The fact is that he is angry and he will start a war.

Honestly, I'm not that impressed. I'm sick of this "silly but super-strong" character intrpductions, honestly.

I don't think Kaido is suicidal due to Whitebeard. I think he does what he does to see just what it actually does take to kill him.

I think Kaido is sad a Worthy Opponent gone got killed.
