I think Adam Muto put it best (paraphrasing cause I can't find the quote) "Crossovers are like Hostess fruit pies. You take a bite of one cause you think it'll be good, but then you start getting queasy and now you have that entire fruit pie you have to finish because you thought it would be a good idea."

Thats how I feel about this crossover. It feels like the most shallow type of corporate tool of "Hey, we own these two things! Lets shove them together for NO reason because, f#$k it, money bitches!" These are two franchises that have nothing in common and make no sense to have crossover, but they are doing it anyway as a cheap cross-promotion.

I hereby proclaim that this does not exist.

Also, if you actually saw the panel, or read any interviews,l you'd see how much dan and swamp loved doing it and how epic it will be.

I think it has potential. It would be stupid to think that this isn't a marketing ploy involving the success of the movie, but if its funny and clever and enjoyable to watch (Like 99% of the show already is) I think it would be a great thing to crossover with.

The way I'd do it is P&F get Marvel superhero toys at Slushy Dog and decide to take things up a notch, turning their entire group into reasonable versions of the Avengers.

I did see the Comic Con panel, and knowing that Dan and Swampy are Marvel fans, it does make me a bit more positive, even if I am still sceptical whether this will work or not (I'm going to keep an open mind for now).

Speaking of the panel, I heard lots of interesting things.

- The Big Damn Kiss in the movie was purely there to fuel the Phinbella fire. XD

- They wanted to do a zombie episode in Season 1.

- The live action film is still in development, and they confirmed that it would have the Roger Rabbit Effect.

- Keep an eye out for the personality swapping episode that they heard from the girl.

- They mentioned a future episode where Dee Bradley Baker had to sing as some monkeys.

Can't remember everything else at the moment however. It was also interesting to hear that Swampy was a Silver Surfer fan, and Damon Lindelof's story about his kid. Lots of funny moments too, especially when they acted in character, and it was interesting to see that lots of people had Phinbella questions. It's even enough to make me want to go one day...

Comic-Con tickets (plus hotel and car and whatnot) is a lot of money.

Not to mention they sell out really quickly.

That's why I didn't go this year, anyway. Never had a chance to get online and purchase tickets.

a friend (who is also a troper, just don't use the forums( went to 2010 CC, in his own perry suit, and got noticed by dan and the others, and even got autographs...including one by miss hu, which forever makes me jealous.

A video involving that crossover that will indeed suck. I can't bring myself to listen to the audio, but apparently genius boy himself talks during some of it, and we'll apparently see the return of The Beak.
