So I'm poking around the P3 character page and I was wondering if we should make a Persona page for frequently recurring characters. Besides some of the Velvet Room people, Nyarly and the Reaper who should be on such a page?

Edit: Er, make it into a general page, not the page that's on there right. I've seen that sort of thing around before.

Well, we could always format it like the main SMT character page- Links to individual entries at the top, folders for recurring characters below.

We do that on the FE page as well.

As for recurring characters, we got Nyarly, Philemon, the Velvet Residents for sure.

Other characters who are technically recurring are all but three of the P1 playables, Tamaki, Tadashi, Ms. Saeko, Hanya, Kandori, Nyx (depending on how you interpret the Night Queen), TV Tanaka, Chihiro, Aigis, Mitsusu, Akihiko, Fuuka...but I probably wouldn't feature most of them.

We could do recurring plot important Personas? I can only think of Hermes, Susano-o, Hypnos, Nemesis, and Thanatos off the top of my head though.

They're not really the same each time they turn up, though.

Pulse: Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Link to each game and people like Igor that are in lots of games below. I don't think I'd list people like Mitsuru just because they showed up in Arena.

Also, are recurring personas really characters?

We list recurring demons on the SMT page, even ones that mainly reappear as characterless bosses.

But otherwise, eh. I can see why we wouldn't do Personas.

I've always thought that was, and my apologies if this upsets anyone to read, really stupid. They're not really characters, they're not really consistent, and they're not really worth the space.

I mean do it if you're going to do it, but don't tell yourself it's essential or even necessary.

I can get entries for Lucifer, Metatron, Astaroth/Astarte/Ishtar, Asura, and so on, but then we got Lilith, who had a major role in a single game and I think a minor speaking part in two others (the bulk of the latter one was axed in favor of the Fiends subplot I think). Yeah, she isn't really a major character.

Then we got entries for the various ranks of angels? What? We got an entry for Cu Chulainn who, while rad, has never gotten any story importance? What?

While they are rarely important, Cerberus and Jack Frost get in for mascot value.

Anyway, since there seems to be approval of the general idea, once I've finished cleaning up the P3 page I'll put together something.

Well... It'd be an undertaking, but hey, if each and every Pokemon can get an entry, I don't see why we couldn't make a Grand Demonary for the series as a whole- Maybe divided by mythology, with an "Etc./Other" category for the misfits?

...Why do all the mons have entries anyway?

Eh, if Pokemans can do it, MT can too.

Oh dear lord, the Pokemon Defense.

The individual deities are more like FF summons than Pokemon, though. Pokemon are generally consistent throughout each game. There's no telling what part...say...Ramuh will play, if any, in a general FF game. And it's the same for most Persona entities.

He was talking about SMT demons though.

We've decided that making a page for recurring Personas would be silly.

Ah. My mistake then.

x11 I added the Angel Orders cause they've been in every game in the series. Well most of them. They also tend to get some lines whether it's as Npcs on the field or battles on the way to the plot. Some have also been bosses. Cherubim was one in SMTII and SJ, Ophanim in King Abaddon, and Seraphim in SJ.

So, I've been thinking about an idea about theme songs for Persona All Stars Arena

Dream of Butterfly (arranged) should be Boss Naoya's theme. Pandora's theme (arranged) should be Boss Maki's theme.

Well, that's all I could think of.
