Actually, I think it was just the disco eyeball. AKA, the only boss in the game I actually consider hard.

Also, I am amused at how you automatically assume "lol shitty casual". From what they told me, they basically breezed through the rest of the game effortlessly.

Even so, there's a pattern you can guess from it after a while. Might be hard one or two times, but after that you should at least have the pattern down...

I guess we could go... wherever we please.

Oh, I think they still beat him first try (which is better than I did) but they still struggled a bit.

Also, yeah, why is that guy harder than the "true" final boss?

Well, I've already maxed out all my party members that aren't Rise or Teddie, and Rise's already at 8 as it is, so I don't have much to worry about.

... Okay, now I'm glad that I started on Hard, because wow. I'm still rocking my OP Jack Frost, and still have a Kaiwan with Victory Cry. (Which has already been passed on to several of my Personas.)

In my first Golden playthrough, I'm just waiting for Void Quest to unlock while following a Max Social Link Guide, with Magician being my current highest at 8.

...Have I mentioned that Brosuke is my favorite character? Because he is. The way he stood up to those two Alpha Bitch bullies in his rank 7 made me want to cheer him on.

Shamelessly plugging my comics, Oh yes.

Yosuke is cool. All the guys are cool. All the gals are cool. Characters are much more consistently good in Persona 4 than in Persona 3. But...I still love my favorites from 3 more.

[up] I see that a lot. I'm mostly inclined to agree... Though I actually only like my favorites from P3 as much as my favs from P4. Maybe it's just that I played it first...

I sure said that!

The Rule of Firsts: You always prefer the first game or any sort of media that introduced you to series. Golden is technologically better than Portable and yet I still prefer it!

You prefer it due to your inner challenge gamer, as the Golden is Easy Mode. No, I will not stop until that becomes a thing.*

I played P4 before P3. I prefer the latter. Though the fact that P 3 P allows you to use the P4 game mechanics for things like party members probably helps.

I played P4 first and am now playing P3. It was weird to adjust to a lot of things at first but I'm enjoying it a lot more now. Time will tell if I still end up preferring P4 by the end.

I played Persona 4 first, and while I still say it wins out in the end, I can't really pick a favourite between the two. They both have very different approaches to the storyline and main themes, so I don't think it's fair comparing them in that regard. You might argue P3's storyline had a better execution, being a genuinely gripping tale of coming to terms with loss and responsibility. P4... was a murder mystery with an inane cast who weren't very good at playing detective, and yet triumphed in the end anyway. Although as people often say, SEES feels like an organisation, while the Investigation Team have more group identity and cameraderie.

Gameplaywise though? The new will be favoured over the old, because technology is shiny.

My first Persona was Persona PSP, and while I liked it, I much prefer Persona 4. Especially because Persona 4 doesn't have so many elements!

Twelve magic types, grouped into four larger categories of four each, plus basically one for every kind of gun or melee weapon.
