Except you know, the entire different story mode.
Im more interested if this will be the perfect excuse to give us in the western world those updates to the Shadow characters we never got so they can finally be playable.
The first game's entire story mode is DLC for Ultimax.
This song needs more love. What a pointless thing to do with the Arena games. Oh well, it beats seeing another Persona 4 title.

Huh so nothing of any actual value then.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."If nothing else, people who want to see the Arena story like me can play the game without waiting for it to be backwards compatible or have the older console.
I can agree with that, I'm just wondering why they're making it a combo pack with two games instead of just Ultimax + DLC.

This song needs more love.It probably is just Ultimax + DLC since Ultimax's DLC includes the story mode of the first game, which is kinda necessary to understand Ultimax's plot. But saying it's a combo pack of both gets the point across better.

Stuff from a Dengeki interview with the P3/P5 dancing game's producer
“We are working on a mid-to-long term plan, including numbered title(s), so that users will constantly be able enjoy the Persona series starting next year.”
“There are also plans to actively work on collaboration projects.”
“Downloadable content for the Persona Dancing games will be released until August. Free downloadable content will be released every week.”
Given the Vita is effectively dead, I wouldn't be surprised in a PS 4 release of Golden with like, P5 costumes or something superficial.
All "milking" jokes aside, Atlus is straight up reserved compared to other companies with their HD remakes for the PS 4.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Call me crazy, but I think that a Persona 3 Golden edition would have the interactiveness of FES, the female route and Anti-Frustration Features of Portable, and a non-canon Golden Ending where the protagonist lives.
I don't think that you can do a P3 ending where the protagonist survives without murdering the themes of P3's story in his place.
Hell, even Elizabeth, who left the Velvet Room and went travelling around in order to help him, doesn't want to bring him back to life or anything like that. She just wants to find a way to let his soul pass on (to let him die properly, in other words) without dooming humanity in the process.

Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Make him the new Igor, since the old one's Japanese voice actor passed away.
I think it'd be Persona 3: (something blue), by the way.
It's been 3000 years…There's already a scenario where Chidori can be magicked back to life. I could totally see some finagling to allow P3's hero to get the same treatment.

Yeah, but that scenario is both 100% non canon, and a little contested as well. It'd be more so if it wasn't 100% non canon.
One Strip! One Strip! It's actually kind of ambiguous as to whether Chidori is still dead or not, isn't it? That being said, I've only completed that little side quest once to see what happens and then ignored it every time since then. I don't think it really fits the game.
Yeah it doesn't fit the theme. Nor does anyone wanting P 3 MC back.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Remember when we all thought Nyarlathotep was going to make his comeback in Arena? Good times.
Would have been better than edgy Evangelion Knockoff.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I would have rather have a terrible attempt at Nyarly then what they made of Kagatsuchi
Or maybe not
I do hope that Persona 6 comes sooner than Persona 5 did.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.I'm sure this topic has been brought up before, but if/when Persona 5 Arena or whatever stupid title they'd go with actually happens, how do you think the Thieves (plus the twins let's be real) would fight and who would you want to play as?
I mentioned in the BBCTB thread but I picture Yusuke playing similarly to Baiken in the Guilty Gear games who focuses on countering and forcing the opponent to respect those counters, and I love that playstyle.
I could see Makoto playing something like Gato - lots of rekkas and mixups, alongside some gimmicks with her bike to help her keep pressure on.
Otherwise I don't think the cast lends itself to a fighting game all that well. You'd have to get really creative without getting redundant with the archetypes Ultimax already covered, unless it throws most of those characters out.
I can see Makoto as a rushdown character. Other than that, I'm not entirely sure how they'll tackle things.
It's been 3000 years…
I still foresee a remake of 4 coming out within the next few years.
That being said, why the heck would they bother releasing Arena and Ultimax together? Ultimax already has literally everything that Arena does.
