Ya know I've been seeing a lot of art of Joker cross-dressing in a dominatrix outfit & I've been wondering what's that about.

Then I remembered the cross-dressing DLC announced for Dancing 5 & I realized "Ooooooooooh right, that's where that's from."

I just beat Heaven in P 4 G, I'm probably going to have a couple of useless days soon because of rain, so I figured I'd go into the TV world to clear up those sidequests that are sequential I've fallen behind on.

But while I'm there I figured grinding up a bit would be helpful, just so I can get some endgame Persona's.

The best strategy is just looking for Golden Hands and spamming Almighty damage at them right?

That seems like the best strategy. That and beating Reaper if you're a high enough level.

So I just noticed this:

Not only do all three of these girls have the Lovers arcana, but they all end up in the Entertainment industry somehow.

Yukari ends up as an actress (via Toku), Rise was already an Idol beforehand, and Anne is a model.

And all three professions gain them the very thing that puts them in the Lovers arcana in the first place.

Fellow Lovers girl Lisa is also in the entertainment industry

Well, that was mostly due to a rumour wasn't it?

Or did p3 reveal that's what she's doing now, because if so, then we have a theme.

She was doing that in EP timeline since the new timeline improved their lives in different ways.

Except EP Tatsuya. Still miserable but now wallows in misery with someone else.

Said simply, Persona 2 Innocent Sin ended badly, so they had to reboot the world, with only Tatsuya being able to remember things in the new timeline, of EP.

Didn't it drive him crazy, or something, or is he still carrying on despite it all?

They all got nods in 3 but ever since the latter Personas took off the 1 and 2 crew don't get a lot of spotlight any more.

There are two versions of the Innocent Sin cast. Ones from the IS timeline laying dormant inside them and their current selves. Maya an exception cause she died. EP Maya has no alternate self inside her..

IS Tatsuya refused to forget his friends so at the end he had to return to the Doomed alternate timeline they originate from where The Bad Guy Wins.

Eternal Punishment, 3, 4, and 5 all take place on this timeline built on the Laser-Guided Amnesia of a bunch of kids/now adults.

The dormant IS Tatsuya or the EP one?

Which is to ask, is there no Tatsuya at all in the EP/current Persona timeline?

just said there are two of each IS character.

IS Tatsuya refusing to forget made EP Tatsuya go to sleep for most of EP.

What do you guys think the shadows of the P5 cast would be like?

I mean, Shadow Ann would probably be very different from the cognitive self Kamoshida made of her since it's shaped not just by how others see it, but also her own insecurities, so I'm curious as to what said shadows would be like?

We heard them ingame egging on their other self to get vengeance on those that wronged them. Nice having some non-malicious shadows.

Ryuji's Shadow would probably just be Yosuke's but with a pirate hat or something.

Oh right. I guess in order to have crazier shadows, the Midnight Channel would need to be involved...

Right. Technically most of EP was IS Tatsuya borrowing the body of EP Tatsuya, thus being stronger and having Apollo already.

Man could that be something to go back to some day if they ever wanted to.

Shadow Ryuji with a crew of Pirate Shadows pillaging the Seven Seas.

Shadow Joker is probably his Joker self, Hollow Ichigo style.

Shadow Morgana... I don't think his Shadow would exist.

Shadow Ryuji is a pirate with a peg-leg, not sure about his personality.

Shadow Ann is a hammy supervillainess that preys on Ann's guilt with Shiho.

Shadow Yusuke is an emotionally dead artist who hates Madarame and adores his mom. Or he gets the Shadow Kanji treatment, but no thanks.

Shadow Makoto is a very rude and aggressive biker, kinda like Kanji at the beginning but worse.

We have seen Shadow Futaba.

Shadow Haru takes Haru's creepy fascination with beating up Shadows and dials it up a couple notches.

Shadow Akechi? I'm not sure how that'd work.

Ann acknowledges her guilt, though. If anything, it would probably be about either A. she actually does like showing off her body or B. that she's kind of lazy and reactive and just waits for things to come to her. I'm betting on B.

Ryuji really is the easiest. He pretends he's doing the Phantom Thieves thing to help people but is obviously just showing off. Prime Shadow material right there. Morgana would probably just be his feelings of uselessness and sense of isolation from the people he admires so much. I feel like Makoto could have a really good Shadow, but I don't know what it would be.

Yusuke would... probably be his self doubts over whether he truly makes art or is just being pretentious? Or maybe a hidden desire for money.

Makoto's would be almost identical to Sae's, I think. Jealous of her beautiful and successful sister.

I may be wrong, but I do recall allusions to the Nijimas having matching inferiority complexes.

EDIT: Maybe Akechi's would be desperate for love and/or attention.

Alright. Now it's time for the cognition vs Shadow self death match!

Is it worth going for all endings in P 4 G? I'm currently saved at December 3rd.

From what I've seen most bad endings are on this day, while Normal, True and Golden are at the end.

Either way I made a backup save so I can go back if need be.

The only endings worthy of seeing in P 4 G are the True and Accomplice endings. They will add movies to the Persona Channel.
