I think it is safe to say that the mouse puzzles are universally not well received. Not necessarily hated, but I haven't seen anyone sing praises for them. It is a shame too since the 7th Palace has so much building up to it, and has one of the best Palace themes in my opinion (my other two being Price-Another Version, and the Whims of Fate).
The mouse puzzle in that palace becomes very repetitive which doesn't help
Yeah that's the reason I dislike it. It's fun at first, but you keep doing it in rapid succession and it loses its appeal. It would have been fine if it was like that for one floor or whatever.

I think I got a game over in Shido's palace due to horrific luck, but it didn't set me back any.
The mouse puzzles would have been okay if there was any real feeling of tension to it. Or if they didn't go on for so long. Also, it felt like a bit of a waste from the idea of robbing a cruise ship because it just felt like you were in some generic mansion.

I know it's overdone, but I really think the ship should've been a cathedral. Shido seeing himself as a messiah or something.
He basically uses 2 or 3 nautical puns during his campaign and suddenly the Diet Building is an ark/cruise ship.
So he's Noah.

Also the real meaning behind the ship is that it's Shido's way of ensuring his own well-being while the rest of the country goes down the crapper.
So, yeah. Noah is a good analogy.

I guess to mention this, but apparently the first six minutes of the first episode of Persona 5 anime is out somewhere. Not gonna link anything just to be safe. EDIT: It is on Aniplex's YT channel, you just need 700 proxies to view it.
The anime also seems to be 24 episodes.

Once in Madarame's place. A cutscene popped me out of stealth and I sat there dopily trying to ambush the enemy right in front of me, which stood watching for a few seconds before smacking me. I also got screwed in the other direction during the casino when a rare shadow popped out of a breakable thing while surrounded by tables and all attempts to attack it just popped me into cover instead.
