Just being careful.

The MC was The Heart of the group, certainly, but SEES didn't break up because there was nothing holding them together but the MC, it broke up because the bond was between the whole group, so gathering together the group with someone conspicuously missing was too painful to bear. In a similar situation with the MC replaced by any of the other characters, I think the group would have drifted apart in a similar fashion. (The details would've been different, though — the only reason the party comes to blows in The Answer is because Yukari was in love with the MC, so that wouldn't have happened with a different character.)

Only if you ignore the entire game's worth of character development? I mean, at the beginning of the game all of that is true, but it's not even remotely the case by the end. I'm not disagreeing with the idea that the MC is the closest friend of most of SEES, but there are certainly other meaningful relationships in that group besides the MC being besties with everyone else.

As far as I know, the only post-The Answer stuff is Arena and Ultimax, which I haven't played, so I couldn't comment on that. But it's made pretty clear in The Answer that Mitsuru considers Yukari more than just a colleague or a comrade-in-arms. She sides with Yukari against Akihiko, who is undoubtedly her closest friend besides Yukari (and possibly the MC — I didn't manage to finish Mitsuru's social link so I'm not entirely sure how that turns out). And she does so purely in support of Yukari rather than because she agreed with Yukari's decision.

At the beginning of the game, sure. SEES at that point is Mitsuru, Akihiko, and Yukari, and Yukari's clearly just hanging around because she thinks staying near Mitsuru might get her answers about her dad. By the end of the game, though? Putting the MC aside? The Mitsuru and Akhiko are friends because they've known each other for years. Mitsuru is close to Yukari (closer even than she is to Akihiko) because of how Yukari supports her after her father's death. All the second-years (Yukari, Junpei, Fuuka, Aigis) are friends. Akihiko and Junpei are friends (they, plus the MC and Ryoji if he's around, basically make up "the guys" and hang out together as such). The second-year girls treat Ken like a little brother. Everyone loves Koromaru, because he is the best dog. Every single person in SEES may not have especially close relationships with every single other person, but at the very least they're still accepted by, and friends with, everyone in SEES — rather than being loners, tag-alongs, or Sixth Rangers.

That's a fair way to put it, though I think that's inevitable with a group that size (eight people, not counting the MC or Shinjiro). The only ones that don't seem to have any sort of relationship beyond "both are in SEES" are Junpei and Ken, Akihiko and Fuuka, and Akihiko and Aigis.

Fuuka compares Junpei and Ken to brothers in one NPC chat, but given that thing was a joke on how "Junpei is the unresponsible older brother and ken is the dutiful younger one." I am pretty sure it doesn't counts as anything since she was just riffing on Junpei at the time.

I wonder how the P5 crew will develop during the game perhaps as they steal and become more infamous they will grow together, and then when something bad like their identities being revealed will tear them apart for a whole. It's one of the things I'm looking to play the game for which is a good thing.

Can't say the same about the plot it will mainly be slice of life until the endgame when another god being shows up to be final boss.

I'm willing to bet on the fact that their group will be ripped apart by distrust at some point in the game. Probably near the end, or perhaps as a bad ending.

Unless they choose to take the phrase "Thick as Thieves" to heart.

In the meanwhile, Yukiko is back in school again, and I just got the Fox Social Link. Made me laugh when I got it.

Don't rely on the fox for restoring SP at this point. Make it a last resort if you failed manage your SP reserves and restoratives.

Ah so that's what he does? Okay. I just bought like, a shit ton of sodas. So I think I'm good for now. Or maybe not.

By the way, how often should I be going in dungeons outside of saving people from the tv? I haven't gone back in since saving Yukiko.

Nope. I've decided to just play through like a normal person, unaware of the consequences. I'll save the max social link guide for a New Game+ if I choose to do one.

Fuse yourself a Kaiwan with Victory Cry on June 24th so that you can dungeon crawl indefinitely. That lets you minimize days that you have to dungeon crawl since SP is no longer an issue for the main character. You can just do all your grinding on one day.

Speaking from experience, you can accomplish the same thing using any Persona with Invigorate 2.

Epic: I've never entered a dungeon if I didn't have to and didn't have anything at all better to do, and usually not even then.

Also, if you're worried about SP consumption, I recommend you fuse a Sarasvati when you get the chance for Invigorate 2. And physical skills are generally more efficient than magic.

Apparently the Persona 2 guidebook mentions that Jun enjoys crossdressing, and often looks better than most girls while doing so.

I kind of wish we got to see more of that in game, rather than just having Lisa do his makeup.

Aside for his issues with his past, his Daddy Issues , Being Joker, and be gay i don't feel who Jun has a total characterization.
