Native: I'm pretty sure you saved her, yeah. She only transmogrifies if she's going to come back to life. That's how I remember it anyway. I only did it once since I felt it ruined the impact of her death.

Do you lose anything if you have Naoto solve the schedule puzzle?
Her respect? To be honest I really don't care.
Song of the SirensNaoto's respect is the most valuable thing in the game.
I don't really like Naoto, and I'm not sure why. Actually, thinking about it most of the P4 cast rub me the wrong way.
Song of the SirensEh, when I played Q, I realized just how much I don't like the Investigation Team as a whole. Sure, we got guys like Kanji but a lot is just meeeeeeeeeh.
"Better than Ken" is my motto. Although Shinjiro's pretty awesome.
Come to think of it, I don't think I like any Persona 3 character other than the ones you meet in the first few days. Except Shinjiro.

For me it was the opposite, Persona Q reminded me how much I enjoyed the investigation team although the flanderization was a bit weird but manageable for the most part. P4 protag was pretty entertaining when I'm not playing him and I'd like to play again to see how P 3 MC acts when I'm not him. Also I don't remember Junpei being such a swell guy, I like him a lot in PQ.
Welp, played up through January 1st in FES. Nothing too dramatic on the plot side of things. Finished up Hermit and got Hanged Man up to 8. I really need to get Emperor maxed so I can get Odin, but I didn't find the Student Council very interesting so I'm only on like level 6 and I don't think I have enough time left at this point. Oh well.
Started slaughtering my way up through Tartarus, as I always do when a new level opens up. Didn't have much of a problem until I hit floor 236, with the World Balance. Son of a bitch throws nothing but Ma*dyne spells that hit hard enough that I have to have my MC casting Mediarahan every single turn without fail or die. I had everyone else wailing on the boss, but right around the time my MC was running out of SP, it started casting Megidola, which could one-shot everyone except my MC, even from full health. I... really can't think of any strategy to counter that. My MC is at level 65 and my other party members vary from 56 to 60. Barring some sort of cheesy tactics that I'm not familiar with, I think I'm just going to have to grind this one out. Ugh.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.I really like the look of the Evil Spirit Club. Has a Silent Hill feel to it.
Looking at the wiki for a second regarding the World Balance (he is one of those bosses), it looks like a common thing to do at the World Balance is to cast Makarakarn and Magic Mirrors a bunch of times, which while it detects it and uses Megidolaon, is a much better skill to deal with through healing rather than him targeting your weaknesses and then doing more BS.
On the other hand, the name World Balance is really cool.
It is, oddly.
Also, is Q any good? Hasn't released in Europe yet.
uh, yes it has?
been out for a while now.
that aside, yeah its pretty good. perhaps a bit easy for an eo game but not bad by any means. music is amazing.

Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Just to check: you are using Tarunda and Rakukaja, right?
Did it do that much damage even with raised defense/lowered enemy attack? The World Balance is only level 72, it shouldn't be that much of a difference.
Jiraiya'd.

I know Akihiko's main draw in the lategame is that he has all the -unda skills, but who has the -kajas? I think it's Aigis, but I seem to remember Rakukaja being one of Junpei's skills.
Song of the Sirens
Huh, so it has. Guess my game store hasn't got their shipment in a while.

I think the -kaja spells are more split up. Junpei has Rakukaja, Koromaru has Sukukaja, and Aigis has Tarukaja, or something like that. Although maybe Aigis has them all anyway, I don't remember.
Edit: I feel dirty writing her name as Aigis. Why isn't it Aegis?

-shrugs-
Also, Atlus USA just tweeted out that the Persona Q manga will be released by Crunchyroll. For what I presume is digital download.
well the wiki page says her name is aegis in japanese but the katakana used is アイギス which doesnt really sound like "aegis" so /shrug???
Crunchyroll has an online manga reader thing. It's pretty bad because it doesn't split pages making everything way smaller when not zoomed. I doubt they'd let you download anything directly.
English doesn't have a monopoly on mispronouncing foreign words.

Because foreign. The same principle ensures that a character named after Jacqes Lacan is known as Jack Rakan.
Yep. That scene only happens if you manage to revive her.
