Kyo: Nice to meet you, Morgan! So what brings you out to a place like this?

Morgan: Failed experiment. I think I accidentally translocated myself.

Kyo: Oh boy, that sounds like fun. Well, better that you ended up here than on the surface of the sun or something, right?

Morgan: Yeah. I ended up on the ground on a planet that's comfortable to life, and not in the middle of a sun. Or an asteroid. Or within a black hole's event horizon.

Kyo: And you've got a cool story to tell your friends back home!

Morgan: Yeah, when they come back to pick me up... any day now.

This place looks nice. I might stop by whenever I get leave.

Kyo: Definitely. It's so pretty, too. Sometimes I'll just sit on top of a mountain and just... look at everything.

Morgan: You need to sit on top of a mountain to have that kind of view?

Funny. You look like you're tall enough to have that constantly.

Kyo: Heh, you've got a point there. Mountain climbing is just fun on its own, though, so I like doing that.

Morgan: I wouldn't know. Never tried it.

Kyo: You should definitely try it some time. There's some really pretty mountains around here.

Morgan: I'll have to fabricate some climbing gear.

Kyo: Ooooh yeah, that might be an issue. Forgot about the whole difference in scale thing for a moment there.

Plotland, Snowy Mountain Plateau

Charles, while the armored person raises their arm for another punch, your companion might notice a small gap in their armor plating just beneath the shoulder, only visible while the arm is being raised.

Six, you manage to dodge the falling ice pillar, which crashes into the snow loudly. However, you are now dealing with a lightning bolt coming your way, thrown by the same mage who's been making your life difficult for the past couple minutes already.

Asche, you hear the mage who threw the ice lance yell loud profanities and demoralizing, gendered insults at you after seeing you get hit by the spell.

-Meanwhile, Mindy... continues fighting? Not too sure what she should be doing right now-

Morgan: -to Kyo- Well, it's a good thing humans are good at making a great many things, huh?

Plotland

-Six may have enhanced reflexes, but only magic or superpowers provide the physically illegal abilities necessary to dodge a bolt of fucking lightning-

-Her shields tank the bolt, but she is still knocked to the ground, her armor seizing up under even more electronics damage-

-While Charles holds her sword to block, Deathclaw notices the small gap in the armor-

-...And takes matters into its own claws by climbing onto Charles' shoulder and squeezing it hard enough to surprise the heck out of the elven swordswoman, making her thrust right into that gap-

Six, although you are downed, you can footsteps approach rapidly through the snow.

Charles, you hear a pained yell as you plunge your blade into the gap, red blood now dripping into the snow as the Power Armored figure takes an angry swing at you with their other arm.

-Without a shield to block, Charles is knocked clean off her feet, Deathclaw jumping off her and her sword slipping from her fingers and landing at her feet-

Morgan: Yeah. You sure are.

Plotland

-Six decides to play dead for the moment-

-keeping an eye on her motion tracker and waiting for the right moment to strike-

Kyo: -grins-
