(yeah, really hard to escape when there's probably a shadow pulling him down still)

Ges: hmmmm

-he just idly chucks a pokeball at the shadow to see what happens-

~just as Priscilla escapes teh Shadow's grasp, Ges' pokeball is hurled at it and... actually captures it?~

Pokeball: ~wiggle~

~wiggle~

Kohaku:-Gets to the stairs, then notices several of her friends aren't there-

-Looks back-

Damnit.

Ges: I figured as much.

Chrysalis: Michael, now would be the time to hobble away from the evil shadow.

~at the last possible second, the pokeball cracks open again, releasing the pokemon it was about to catch~

~a Darkrai◊ is now hovering in the center of the room, and it looks pissed~

(Michael can't move, but he sees the Pokemon)

Michael: Hey. How about if you leave them alone?

(he uses Ice Beam with his stump)

(Marcia looks at the Darkrai.)

Marcia: Nepty, use Solarbeam!

(Since the room is illuminated from the earlier Sunny Day, the Victreebell attempts to fire a Solarbeam at the Darkrai.)

Ges: Hey there Mr. Shadow-

-and then the others attack-

man I just wanted to talk to it.

Chrysalis: Screw you, you sad excuse for a demon!!

-Chrysalis puts all of her energy into one massive attack, channeling her inner rage, the emotions of everyone in the room, and the passive Magic field and bending it to her will. She releases it in the form of a massive projectile of pure energy, hurled at the creature at well past the speed of sound-

Kohaku: @Ges That woulda been helpful before your pals started trying to turn this place into a lightshow rave.

(Marcia facepalms upon noticing Ges saying he wanted to talk to it.)

Marcia: Oops...

~well, after the beam onslaught, nothing is left where the Darkrai was hovering except a cloud of black smoke that quickly dissipates~

-chrysalis's horn is glowing red hot now, and she is breathing heavily-

Chrysalis: It is done, Marcia, make sure Mike doesn't die please, I'm gonna just rest for a bit.

Ges: it was just a pokemon and we killed it. The thing was probably just irritated that it got pulled into this world....and holy shit that place we were running around in was probably it's home dimension.

-just sort of sits down-

Kohaku: ...

@Priscilla Let's just get May back. See if we can fix her up later.

Not much else we can do here.

(Marcia is holding back the tears when she heard Ges say she killed a Pokemon. All this time, she thought she was doing the right thing.)

Marcia: @Ges: I killed a Pokemon...?

Marcia: @Chrysalis: No... I n-need um time to t-think.

Priscilla: Right... -she heads back with May still in her arms-

-And so, cleaning off the blood on her face, Kohaku just leaves the Pokemon tower, considering the place is already trashed so sightseeing is pretty much done for today-
