[up]Rocky Horror doesn't count as a real musical these days?

This movie didn't really wow me at all in the trailers, add on Zach Snyder as director and a description of "live-action anime", musical numbers was the nail in the coffin for any interest I had.

Zack Snyder has a hard-on for ramping. I never thought I would live to see the days where "ramping owls" is a legitimate term to describe a film.

We're worrying about singing? I sat through that Sweeny Todd bullshit, and last I checked there were no guns, robots or explosions; then again I was fondling my gf at the time.

Musical numbers? Sounds like it'll add to the over the top-ness.

I'm totally going to bring in a flask of vodka - or some Jager and redbull and have myself some pseudo-jagerbombs.

So as I asked in the first page that no one answers...is she wearing a Sailor Fuku!?While fighting robots and dragons with a Katana?!?

Or does it just look like a Sailor Fuku? It's a bit dark.

Yes, it's a weeaboo kilt (AIIIEEEEE!!! KAWAII SEIFUKU DESU NAAAAAA! =^.^= (Anyone who is white and says something like that IRL needs to be shot)) , you can see it on the giant poster in the Wal-Mart poster section.

Zack Snyder, you are not Japanese. You will never be Japanese. The Japanese hate you and your movies. So why are you obsessed with Japanese teenage girl culture?

That movie was good, but I'm pretty sure it's only popular because lol Johnny Depp.

I like the staged musicals more.

It's got a huge teen girl fanbase solely off Johnny Depp, though.

Still gonna see it. No way It'll be boring.

And no matter what anybody says I know for a FACT that adding musical numbers to something is a sure-fire way to make it 40% more TOTALLY SWEET

Well, it looks like Warner Bros. won out in the editing room. The final cut runs 109 minutes.
