He neglected to ensure that he was wearing the correct boot on both feet.

One Boot Sinks. One Boot floats. This is the result.

[up]Obviously, but that wasn't really the point of this comic, was it?

It kind of is. Because one boot sinks and the other floats, the leg in the "sink" book got ripped off. That's the joke.

[up][up]It got ripped off because of the weight, not because of magical sinking powers, as your wording seems to imply. But I'm starting to slowly realize I shouldn't have started such a silly argument in the first place.

In a way, they do have magical sinking powers, since they'll only sink you when you wear 'em but not when they're just sitting in your inventory.

I would assume magical weight shoes myself.

Best comic? Best comic.

Well, the author comment is awesome, anyway.

I keep forgetting that the author of the comic is a girl, until I look and see that her name is Katie. Maybe it's just the way she draws herself.

Also, is she really deaf like in the Comic-Con comic?

Kayeka from Amsterdam (4 Score & 7 Years Ago)

[up]Probably not actually deaf, but more of a problem to tune out background noise. Of course, that borders on Armchair Psychology, so I probably shouldn't have said that.

[up][up][up]Probably just a joke. As in, by saying she is deaf, people would not complain about she not listening. That being said, it is possible she has bad listening.

I also got confused at first, considering how she draws herself and how she is always in ambiguous or male clothings.

[up]I think she just enjoys avoiding standardized female clothing from video games. I mean let's be honest. If women in real life dressed like most women in video games, we'd call them whores. It's kinda fucked up. Katie took another option, dress like dudes. Which actually is just pretty much standard people clothes (T-shirts, jackets and jeans). She actually draws herself less attractive than she really is too. But we can chalk that up to her low self-esteem.

BTW, has anyone watched her livestreams before. It's awesome. It's like a live action show of Hilarity Ensues.

The NCR is like Tim Taylor. We need more POWER!!

[up]That rationale don't work for Pokemon, which is the only place where I ever noticed she to deliberately wear men clothes, instead of unisex clothes in a video game setting. In that case, I just assume she is used to play as a male character (and, so, she uses said character clothes in-comic), since she has being so since Red/Blue.

Anyway, I wasn't trying to imply anything about her, really. Just pointing why she is often confused with a guy.
