Marvel Vs. Capcom 3

I demand Frank West, he's covered wars you know.

That and for a photographer... jesus that guy should have been in the NFL... Or the Marines.

Judging by the silhouettes, i think it's almost safe to say Frank is in(Though it could be Wesker).

I'd love to see his interaction with Spidey.

I would like for there to be a feature where Deadpool and Spidey banter with their opponents, and where the Deadpool vs. Spidey matches turn into rambling jokey conversations + violence.

Speaking of, I would like for Kitty Pride to be in so that we can actually see her get Shoryuken'ed. Despite me generally being a fan of Kitty. But I have no idea how she would work as a fighter.

Yes, they are both fighting games. In addition to that, a common developer did some work on both games.

Polygon Pictures is credited for trailer editing in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and created cinematics for many Tecmo titles including Dead or Alive 4 and Fatal Frame III.

This isn’t the first time Polygon Pictures worked with Capcom. The two companies collaborated on Street Fighter IV where Polygon Pictures edited trailers and made the game’s opening movies.

Kind of off topic, but I just noticed that in Tatsu vs. Cap, the combo rating for Frank's Zombie Rush attack (the Servbot hyper) is FANTASTIC.

I would love it so hard if the game came out with fully-animated 3D models for every character...except Morrigan, who they still use her old Darkstalkers sprite for. Complete with Paper Mario-esque "turning around" animations.

I'd like to see at least four Mega Man characters, again... I wanna see Duo in a game again, dammit! It'll never happen, though...

If I forgot Black Panther earlier I apologize for my over-sight he rocks and should be included.

I think Capcom (and in turn, Kotaku) is getting mixed up. There's no way that these art renders are actually how the game's going to look. Now if they had said that the in-game models would look like what's in the trailer, I could possibly buy it. But the artwork from Shinkiro and/or whoever the DC artist is that did the pics in this article? I don't think so.

Sadly, I think people are going to be disappointed when actual screens come out and they look nothing like this art because Capcom slipped up on one word, and news sources like Kotaku reported on it without thinking it through

I really think that the Capcom rep meant to say "trailer" and not "artwork" when talking about the game's graphics.

Yeah the art work looked very much like a comic book drawing, if they could reproduce that on screen awesome, but I'm guessing we'll get hi-res 3d models.

Capcom is going for a theme here, in Tatsunoko vs Capcom, the characters that looked more "Real" in their games have an anime look to them, fitting the theme. MVC 3 looks like it does the same, except with comics.

The idea of Capcom claiming the game will have a deep story just made me chuckle. Sure Capcom. Whatever you say.

Fighting Games are not well suited for that, but it's possible to expect at least a serviceable story, like with Blaz Blue. As long as they don't make Ryu the main character, that wouldn't make the story any favors.

^^Yeah, and the next Street Fighter is totally not gonna have some kinda' Updated Re-release.

Meanwhile, the concept art looks like some of the heroes have been doin' some 'roids. Also, Morrigan's boobs look a bit... big, or did everyone always look like that?

Not that big on comics. Or that many Capcom games, for that matter.

I got Ninja'd for the 1st time. Its funny.

What I wanna know is out of all the characters, Chris is, so far, the only newcomer. I don't mind that Logan, Bruce, Ryu, and other mainstays are back, but it concerns me that almost everything they've told us was agiven.

I'm not talking about it being a fighting game being the bad part for story - I've already figured out the way a fighting game could have a brilliant plot that focuses on how contextual our sense of morality is.

Its that its Capcom that makes me snort derisively. In their entire history, they've done a well made plot a grand total of twice, both times because of someone who has left (Okami with Clover and Killer 7 with Goichi Suda). Apart from that we have "Dr Wily's killing humanoity for the evulz", "Bisons trying to take over the word for the evulz", "the devils trying to take over the world for the evulz", "Umbrella's trying to take over the world for the evulz" (Noticing a pattern?), and more recently, MY WIFE IS MY ARM!, the dead rise and thats pretty much it, and Aliens are trying to invade and they're bad cause they're aliens.

They're not going to reveal everything from the get go. It's only a teaser trailer for Christ sake.
