This whole time I've been spelling Mega Bloks as Mega Blocks,weird.

They should have called one of the bazooka weapons in Mario + Rabbids "Super Mario RPG". Tragic missed opportunity for a pun. Maybe it'll be in the DLC.

While I do like the rest of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees (Bon Jovi, Dire Straits, Nina Simmone) I am disappointed in them for not having Link Wray, Judas Priest, and to a lesser degree Radiohead. (All of which were nominated this year. Radiohead didn't get in purely because the members pulled a Sex Pistols and said that they would refuse to show up.) But hey, in a field so big and filled with greatness, someone has to lose.

With all the news coming out, this has so far been a decidedly non-Christmas Christmas. ;_;

Well folks, the FCC voted to repeal Net Neutrality. I officially hate this country now. I never thought something like this would happen. I thought people would care enough but I guess it was stupid of me to believe that.

It's not over yet and won't be implemented for years,and the resulting lawsuits might kill it off

You should know the information correctly before coming up to assumptions.

The FCC have literally shown they don't give a crap about what people say. Even when most people showed they were for Net Neutrality, they basically just said "screw you" and did this. Am I not allowed to be worried about this?

The thing is that it's not over. Nothing's going to change immediately, and there's a lot of bipartisan support in Congress for smacking the FCC and saying "no! Bad agency!"

So, a politician was accused of sexually assaulting a teenager. At first, he claimed it was "fake news" and slander and all made up. Then, a couple days later, he committed suicide.

When I told my mom, she told me that male school principals in particular have a reputation for sexually harassing female subordinates. Once, when she was 21, a male principal took her into his office, closed the door, and pulled her into a big bear hug.

Another time, when she was 9 years old, a friend of her parents went into her bedroom, hugged and kissed her, and told her, "Susie, when you marry, make sure I know the man and approve of him." She didn't tell her mom until 50 years later.

Shit like this has always been going on. People are now starting to talk about it more.

Please be careful with how you process and relay information like this. The fact the guy committed suicide is not proof he committed rape. There are plenty of people who were falsely accused who committed suicide because no one believed them. What would count as proof is DNA samples found on the girl's clothes or a video from a security camera or a confession. A suicide note saying he did it would be proof, but not the suicide itself.

You know what, you've got a point. This guy could well be innocent for all we know.

At the same time, lots of other stories are coming out. My mom's stories are one example.

... so the FCC saying they "want to hear from the public" before voting happens, just showed that all the time, energy, calls, and commotion we spent were totally useless and they just voted 3-2 like they had planned. ... I hate everything right now.

Calm down, the repeal isn't fully official just yet, it has to go through congress first.

I think that was probably the point.

I really don't like it when people assume an antagonist is a villain. An antagonist is someone that is an opposing force to the protagonist. That means that a good person can be an antagonist if they're trying to stop the protagonist from doing something.

You can have a non-villain antagonist just like how you can have a non-hero protagonist.

I mean I don't see people do it often, but after watching Vanguard and seeing people online call certain characters "villains" when in reality they're just antagonists (as they are not necessarily evil) it just kind of annoys me.

I just... I don't know. It irritates me sometimes. I consider "antagonist" and "villain" two different things that are closely linked, but not necessarily the same.
