Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

My phone turns my attempts to type "autistics" into "autistic's" no matter how many times I correct it. Really annoying. It should be better at understanding context.
Maybe I could play something with my niece and nephew - after all, I'm more than just "the video game uncle", but have also played games like throwing pillows at each other and using other pillows as shields to block them, and stuff like that. That could be played in the basement of their house, the only place there's room for it. We've chased each other around the pool table, thrown plushes at each other from opposing sides of the pool table, things like that. We've done physical games before that aren't video games. While at our vacation house by a lake, we've swam in the lake, splashed each other, etc. And in the winter, had snowball fights last year in the perfect Christmas weather (not too cold, but still plenty of snow and a frozen lake).
You're a cool uncle! ^_^ Kids need adults who will be ridiculous with them when their parents won't.
I thought my younger brother looked like Jerry Seinfeld today.
I like to keep my audience riveted.People who say "for a thousand years" should really remember how long a thousand years is.
Lots of shit can happen in that time.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.I'm about to watch episode 18 of Soul Eater. It's a filler about Exaclibur.
May the spirit of King Arthur protect my Soul.

Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...Another case of one name or word referring to two opposite things.
Dandelion Wine: a lame book, but a very nice song from Blackmore's Night.

Blog linkFor some odd reason I was just picturing the scene in old episodes of Sesame street where that baker says "10 chocolate layer cakes" then falls and drops `em.
"If everybody is thinking alike, somebody isn't thinking"- George S. PattonYou can't spell Adamantine without Adam huh
i feel like there should be an fictional material named after Eve too, there is however an actual material called Edenite
New theme music also a boxUh... would Evarium work?
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...I'll be very surprised if Steven Universe doesn't use Adamantine as a part of a Gem creation myth,
New theme music also a boxI am enraged about Trump's ruining of a Boy Scout Jamboree by making it a political rally all about himself.
In an attempt to prevent myself from blowing a gasket, I will now point out that Grammarly told me to capitalize the "j" in "jamboree." I presume it's proximity to Boy Scout caused that.
Blog linkI hadn't hear about that, but I just looked it up. That is incredibly upsetting. I'm a Girl Scout, and unless the message of the Boy Scouts is much more drastically different than ours than I thought, that is so against the Scout way. (The Girl Scouts do not believe in "America first." I am positive of this.) It is a tradition to invite leaders and successful people to give speeches at jamborees, about working hard and achieving your dreams and stuff like that (though I sincerely doubt that Trump would be invited to a Girl Scout jamboree) getting that political in front of a bunch of young kids that have no choice but to listen and cheer is sickening...

I can't believe I almost forgot how much fun and invigorating it is to jump on a trampoline. ^_^;;
I like to keep my audience riveted.Fox News actually ran a headline saying something like "Boy Scouts cheer Trump, boo Obama; they know who their friend is."
More like they had no choice but to cheer when the Big Important Adult in the front of the room is speaking, and figured they had to boo when it was clear that was the "socially appropriate" thing to do.
So that, along with headlines like "Left compares Trump's Boy Scouts speech to Hitler Youth rally", are how the right plans to spin this story.

I was unaware that the Boy Scouts ever booed Obama. That seems really OOC for Scouts, who are taught courtesy and respect
And they're talking about children. Children aren't mature enough to understand the nuances of politics and "who their friend is" and claiming that they do is pure propaganda.

So.
My mother just got surgery.
She's fine now. Just staying overnight.
It was for a hysterectomy.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Oh jeez. Glad to hear she's doing okay now.
Good to know that she's well now.
You know the damnedest thing?
I thought she was going in for surgery for her knee. It was only when my big brother took me home that I found out that she got a hysterectomy.
I had to leave my car behind so I got home in his car.

I like to keep my audience riveted.Glad your mom's okay. My mom had a hysterectomy when I was about 10... I didn't even know what a womb WAS at that point.
Unrelated: I was googling to try to find out what it means to "bounce" someone from TVTropes, and the suggested searches included "tvtropes prg", "www tvtropes rg", and "tvtropes otg". Why do people find "dot oh are gee" so hard to spell?
Migrated to Chloe Jessica!I have just discovered that I can be quite the savage when I want to be. Someone commented on part 12 of my Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped playthrough telling me to kill myself, and my response? "I did. Multiple times. It's like you didn't watch the video."

My phone is at the point now where it automatically capitalizes Wall (as demonstrated there) because apparently I've typed it in reference to The Wall so much.
