If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.

Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Going even further on that, I'm pretty sure rhinoceroses are herbivores.

I'm pretty sure the author knew that, but just wanted a bizarre death for James' parents.

...At least, that's what I hope is the case. I mean, it was written in 1960s so there was no way that anybody could NOT know something like that.

Though didn't Tim Burton work around it by making the rhino a supernatural monster?

Tim Burton had nothing to do with the movie, that was Henry Sellick, the director of Nightmare Before Christmas (Burton wrote and produced only).

When I watched the movie, it was roughly ten years after reading the book.

And holy shit. The ridiculous plot wasn't a problem for me, at least back then. But goddamn, it was, and still is, bloody damn ugly.

Wait, wasn't The Nightmare Before Christmas one of the two movies that made Tim Burton a household name? (The other being Batman)

Also Henry Sellick.

You're thinking Edward Scissorhands.

As for the changing your body completely topic. I very much imagine that there will definitely have to be lines drawn in regards to that....

It's not a bad idea per say but people can definitely abuse it....

[up]This, Tim Burton was also known for making Edward Scissorhands

You know what I find really obnoxious ? All the ads for Broadway musicals. They don't tell me anything, it's just a bunch of selected quotes from critics in the NYT praising it. The most obnoxious example is "the greatest musical of the century" which seems to always be in ads for The Book of Mormon

My guess is that anyone who's interested already goes to plays, and they don't care what it's about so much that it's good.

In a city like New York where you can go out and do things, you'll just watch what's out there. As opposed to the Internet where everything is available to you and you'll focus more on what you know you'll like.

I just saw BVS last night, and I don't think Wonder Woman was a major enough part of the previous two hours to have earned a spot in the big battle.

I have a feeling if this universe includes the invisible jet, it will be high-tech stealth from Wayne Enterprises R&D. And they only just begin to work together late in the movie.

I feel it would be more accurate to say that Batman and Superman didn't deserve to be in the final fight with Wonder Woman.
