Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I'm pretty sure the author knew that, but just wanted a bizarre death for James' parents.
...At least, that's what I hope is the case. I mean, it was written in 1960s so there was no way that anybody could NOT know something like that.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Though didn't Tim Burton work around it by making the rhino a supernatural monster?
I like to keep my audience riveted.Tim Burton had nothing to do with the movie, that was Henry Sellick, the director of Nightmare Before Christmas (Burton wrote and produced only).
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? When I watched the movie, it was roughly ten years after reading the book.
And holy shit. The ridiculous plot wasn't a problem for me, at least back then. But goddamn, it was, and still is, bloody damn ugly.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Wait, wasn't The Nightmare Before Christmas one of the two movies that made Tim Burton a household name? (The other being Batman)
I like to keep my audience riveted. Also Henry Sellick.
You're thinking Edward Scissorhands.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. As for the changing your body completely topic. I very much imagine that there will definitely have to be lines drawn in regards to that....
It's not a bad idea per say but people can definitely abuse it....
This, Tim Burton was also known for making Edward Scissorhands

Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothSpeaking of movies, I still say Pocahontas is cooler than Apocalypto.
I like to keep my audience riveted.....Eh I will admit I was never fond of Pocahontas...
Formerly known as Bleddyn And I am feeling like a ghost Resident Perky GothThe moment when you realize that all your dreams aren't going to come true.

Wait, you mean to tell me they were supposed to be the ones in the spotlight?
Please, we all know Aquaman was the real star of the film.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Did he talk to fish?
New theme music also a boxNo, but he did try to talk to a turtle, which told him that it was a fucking turtle.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. What a rude turtle.
New theme music also a boxYou sure it wasn't a tortoise? People get that wrong all the time.
You know what I find really obnoxious ? All the ads for Broadway musicals. They don't tell me anything, it's just a bunch of selected quotes from critics in the NYT praising it. The most obnoxious example is "the greatest musical of the century" which seems to always be in ads for The Book of Mormon

I was in New York today

My guess is that anyone who's interested already goes to plays, and they don't care what it's about so much that it's good.
In a city like New York where you can go out and do things, you'll just watch what's out there. As opposed to the Internet where everything is available to you and you'll focus more on what you know you'll like.
I just saw BVS last night, and I don't think Wonder Woman was a major enough part of the previous two hours to have earned a spot in the big battle.
Fresh-eyed movie blogDid she use her invisible jet?
New theme music also a boxI have a feeling if this universe includes the invisible jet, it will be high-tech stealth from Wayne Enterprises R&D. And they only just begin to work together late in the movie.
Fresh-eyed movie blogIs she still an amazon?
New theme music also a boxI feel it would be more accurate to say that Batman and Superman didn't deserve to be in the final fight with Wonder Woman.
...I'm not bitter or anything.
"We're home, Chewie."I'm just glad we actually don't have to wait until the 2040's for Wonder Woman to get her own theatrically released movie.
I like to keep my audience riveted.
Going even further on that, I'm pretty sure rhinoceroses are herbivores.
