Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I like her because she was born in Michigan. And she is beautiful.

Speaking of age, I'm only 25, about to be 26. Yet I feel like I'm mid 40's.

Huh. You're not much older than me.

Anyway, I actually prefer darker hair on girls, but blondes are okay. Oh, and redheads...

Just watched Jurassic Park and then made signs for a climate rally tomorrow. They say "STOP THE COAL BOATS" and "GIVE US A FUTURE".

You're going to a climate rally?

Must say, that's a good sign. I wish the US cared as much about climate change. Seriously, it's frigging warm outside and it's the end of November! I hope we get snow around Christmas. It's colder at my vacation house than it is here (about 10 degrees F colder, generally), but we even had a recent Christmas without snow even up there in the frigging mountains.

Maybe stuff would be done about climate change if our Republican party hadn't gone full moron with this anti-science, anti-intellectual, "ideological purity" shit. Barry Goldwater died being scared of the changes to his party. If he were alive today, the Republicans would do their damndest to kick him out.

It's not even entirely politics. Anywhere where they are even slightly industrialized contributes to it. Especially these dickheads dumping shit wherever they want.

And companies that care only about short-term profits (and kissing shareholder ass) want to pretend climate change isn't real and they have nothing to do with it.

I love the fact that the freaking Koch brothers hired a scientist who was skeptical of climate change to research it and prove it wasn't real, only for him to come to the opposite conclusion: that it was real and caused by human behavior. Not even the billionaire Koch brothers could keep him from coming to the conclusion where the science apparently led.

Aiming at any sort of moral compass these people have won't work - you have to aim at their greed.

I am really not looking forward to next year.

Politics on any subject tend to be my Berserk Button, whether it's from the side I'm against, or the side I'm on. But since it's an election year, I am never going to hear the end of it.

Especially since I live in the extremely, vocally, and violently political state of South Carolina; or, as I like to call it, "the main antagonist of the country". I miss my old homes... I got dragged down here against my will. If I had the choice, I'd be out of this sweltering hellhole in an instant.
