If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.

Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I feel like changing my avatar, either to another historical figure or maybe even commissioning someone. I've got pretty awesome Ideas for an avatar but no talent to make it happen in terms of drawing. Problem there is, I've got next to zilch money on me.

Eh, I think I'll go for a Historical figure, but if anyone's for some bizarre reason willing to do a commission for me for free, go ahead and PM me, either way in my view I'll have a pretty awesome avatar (John Pym's getting tiresome for me).

Yeah, I was thinking so...though I still figured that demons were the opposite of angels.

I received a rather nice compliment today.

As some of you might know, my theatre does an annual project which lets teens write and direct the plays they perform. I've submitted several plays, but they never got picked. At rehearsal today, however, the adult in charge of the program gave me a flyer about a writing contest in our area because she thinks my work is good. smile

Yeah, I'm entering. And I'm almost done with my entry.

Cloud Mows The Lawn... hm. Is it really that horrid? I mean, I've never read it, but I heard that it's one of the worst fanfics ever written.

I don't actually know about this one but, I do know that there are some things a sane person will never be able to understand. And many of them can be found on the internet.

I've read the first chapter out of morbid curiosity. It has badly written coprophilia so I'm not surprised a lot of people think it's the worst fanfiction ever.

If there already isn't one, I have a good idea on how to make it.

Step 1: Get an idiot from outside of society

Step 2: put him in front of a TV screen which plays a film about every work in media

Step 3: Put him in front of keyboard and tell him to write a story about what he saw.

Step 3.5: Make sure the grammar Nazis are out the room

Step 4: Non-profit!

Geez, Fate/Extra barely has really begun and already there is (relatively blatant) yuri subtext between Female Protagonist and Rin.

Not that I'm complaining.

Someone from before the Elizabethan era, judging by the rather conservative ruff.

It is Henry IV of France, reign from 1589 to 1610, so not quite before the Elizabethan era.

Reading Your Mileage May Vary...

Being one of the most ubiquitous tropes on this site, I knew what it meant long before I ever had to read its page.

But now that I have, what is WRONG with it. Is the wiki actually moving away from subjectivity now?

I need to test a pen as in, how it writes. The problem is, I'm sitting here with the notepad, and I haven't a bloody clue what to write. Suggestions?
