Though, that would be quite an interesting game. Imagine going through a Sonic game without any springs or speed-boosters - relying on Tails' flight for replacing the former, and using the spid-dash and momentum physics for replacing the latter.

Always looking for a good MMORPG with a great community...Dudes~~~ gameplay!
WOW! Now if we could only hear the music better. Plus, that water-section seems harder than it looks.
It seem that inertia seems fixed and such.
Always looking for a good MMORPG with a great community...Gotta say, I really like that stage design, both in how it looks and how it plays. One of the things that bugged me about 4-1 was that the stage design was kind of lackluster. It just didn't... I dunno... flow in a vibrant way. It's hard to explain what I feel about it, I guess. The stages being at times painfully derivative did not help.
Despite that, I vaguely liked 4-1, and with those problems fixed I have no doubt 4-2 will be great.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI'm not watching any footage until they get someone who doesn't suck ass.
So... when does this drop? Everything appears to be finished or in the finishing stages - except maybe the stage we haven't seen yet - so when are we going to get a piece of it? Or are we just going to get a demo and have to wait for months?
^ It's because when you see those guys suck you get the impression that a) the game is good, it's just that the guy is terrible at it, and b) you become so full of rage at their suckiness that you buy the game just to see what it looks like when someone knows what they're doing.

Tails can't fly, apparently. First dimpserations multiplayer and now this.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DI see Tail flying whadarutakinabout???
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/It's Miru. Most of us expect him to make little sense.
Miru's a girl? At least I thought so?
So can anyone sum up what has been revealed for this game so far for me please?
- Screenshots of (most likely) all four levels have been revealed. In order, they are:
- Sylvania Castle, which seems like Marble Garden meets Aquatic Ruin
- White Park (I'm not really sure on the name, though)
- Sky Fortress, which looks like Stardust Speedway as an amusement park. It even has a battle against Metal Sonic.
- We only have one screenshot of the fourth zone, and going by the oil derricks in the background, it looks like a more modern version of Oil Ocean. The shipping containers in the foreground almost confirm that the last level will, yet again, be an Eternal Engine zone.
- Tails is in this game, and he can do a double spin attack with Sonic or fly up while carrying him.
- The special stages will be basically the same as Sonic 2's halfpipes with rings.
- The physics look more accurate to the Genesis games, but there's no way to be sure about it.
- The red rings (from Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations) are also in this game, although we don't know what they do when you get them.

^ Are you sure Sky Fortress is the amusement park stage? It doesn't look like a Sky Fortress, at all, and I was under the impression it and the ice world were different acts of the same stage.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. This screenshot◊ and one of the achievements ("Defeat Metal Sonic in Sky Fortress Zone, Act 1") led me to that conclusion.
Weird I would think the amusement park was the same as the snow stage.
You may have to fight metal multiple times, like G-mel in Advance 3. Sky fortress act 1 is just the last time you fight him solo.
Last boss better not be another giant eggman robo.
But those are the best. Well, at least when it was building sized.
I just want something different this time.
Thats too much to expect from a Sonic game, for me most of the Stages it just a reimagination of the first ones
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/^^^^ Yeah, I was assuming that as well.
In fact, that seems likely - maybe Metal ushers in several bosses but doesn't actually fight for real until the end.
The final stage would be Sky Fortress, and as a sort of multi-boss gruel-fest you fight Metal Sonic first act, Eggman second act, and maybe both last act.
Or something. I'm just spitballing.
In fact, not even: The final boss isn't a giant Eggman Robo, nope. Taking the Metal Sonic idea to its logical conclusion, you fight a giant Sonic mecha. Piloted by Metal Sonic.
