I don't have the yen to shill out.
Then the dollars, pounds or euros when it inevitably migrates west.
Yeah, fat chance.
Heh, well, underground.
At least until Fox News does a story on it.
There's a new voicebank being developed for Miku English now. You can hear it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRc_Vz6kEjc No idea what it's going to be, though. She sounds as much a derpy little angel as ever, is it me of does it feel a bit like she's singing underwater?

“Five exclamation marks, the sure sign of an insane mind.” TPNah, she does sound like she's singing underwater...
Mm, I like her other English voicebank...this one sounds kind of slurred.
And maybe it's just me, but English Vocaloids typically seem harder to understand without subtitles.
Drunk Karaoke Voicebank
It is the case with all language that it is easier to understand with subtitles. Essentially because it tells you what it says (obvious I know), so it's easier for your brain to follow. The same is probably true for Japanese Vocaloids, if I knew Japanese, that is.

“Five exclamation marks, the sure sign of an insane mind.” TP;p Okay, I mean REALLY hard to understand without subtitles. Like super-thick-accent hard.
Good English Miku song with a picture of a girl who looks like Cirno.
Sounded weirdly familiar...I hope there'll be a PV for it some time.
YOOOOOOOOO
THIS FUNK
Oh yeah, I remember when Ai Dee was everywhere a while back. Mitchie actually posted a new song recently, using a pretty new model.
For a while, that weird voice tremble that Mitchie M put in his songs rather bugged me...but some of them are pretty good despite it.
Miku's birthday song for instance, which is actually sung by the other Cryptonloids.
Also, full English version of Melody.
I don't think that that score behind her is actually the song.
Okay, so in a more dramatic Vocaloid-related news event, first Korean Vocaloid See U's voice provider (Dahee Kim) has been arrested for blackmail.
Now that's a first.
“Five exclamation marks, the sure sign of an insane mind.” TPI actually didn't know that blackmailing was a crime. I thought it was just something very socially inappropriate. Like adultery.
I wonder what that'll mean for SeeU.
"SeeU when I get out of jail."
Best case scenario, fanon and songs about her being a criminal (including Smooth Criminal covers and parodies)
Worst case scenario: Vocaloid would be close to dead in Korea (and SeeU certainly is dead)

I live for lame puns.
Yuki sings Skyward Sword's Ballad of the Goddess.
At least I think it's Yuki...unless it's like Tianyi or someone...
It plays backwards at the end, because it's actually Zelda's lullaby backwards for anyone who didn't know. :P
Also Sheik's theme from Ocarina of Time.
Hylian is a nice language. Too bad it's fake.
Not only do CUL and Gumi sound awesome together, but the song and the PV are so amazingly creepy.
The Vocaloid horror songs are often so catchy...but too freaky to watch too much.
Another thing: Vocaloid isn't just about music. It's also about virtual dating.
If you can't see it, it's using Oculus Rift to virtually share a drink with Miku.
It's cute though. It's a thing that people could use if they don't mind shelling out the yen for a virtual girlfriend.
