It'd be cool if Valve could get their shit together. Was just on Snowplow and the train's invisible, plus the counter for contracts doesn't update until a map change and I can't turn my completed one in.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? There's a hella glitches.
- Weapon Swaps.
- Taunts
- Contracts
- Store glitches
- etc....
Give it a month. With all of the mods out there for Tf2, the servers are going to have a heyday dealing with the new coding.
And given that there are easily over a thousand seperate servers that valve had to re-rig.....
I mean, it's not that hard from server to server... but...
I am the once and future king. The inability to turn in contracts is totally unacceptable, since that's a main feature in this update. Do they even test their shit?
EDIT: You can pick up dropped Medic's Mediguns and use their dropped charge. New meta.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?type in hud_reloadscheme if you're having trouble with contracts...
Mini-sentries build slower and are way easier to destroy now that they have 50% health while first building.
Oh man... the Jag is awesome. A Lvl 1 Sentry builds around as fast as the normal mini-sentry does now. Building nests with it is way easier. Repairing them is harder, but my Rescue Ranger takes care of that. And hauling is a lot faster and less tedious then it used to be...
Every time I try to join a server the game crashes.
It doesn't even have to be running the new maps.
I did the reload thing and it still won't let me turn them in.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I turned in my two contracts and ended up getting two different rocket launchers... Kinda lame, since I never play Soldier. I would've rather gotten a flamethrower or scattergun. Still, pretty nifty update!

Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...Goddamn, I've always had lag, but the update has turned it unbearable. I can barely play, even in Chilean servers.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.How hard, on average, would you say most contracts are?
And can they be cheesed on achievement servers?
Must be fun, being one of the few people this game will work for now.
Most of the ones I've seen are pretty simple, i.e. "score 10 points in one life" or "win a round on Snowplow".
Pretty easy. The ones that suck are when you're given contracts for classes you aren't good at playing (like I got spy and I never play as him). The other ones are pretty easy so long as you play on Vavle servers.
I tested two of the weapon rebalancings today. My thoughts:
- Baby Face's Blaster: Earlier today before the update went live, I zoomed around with the BFB and got a 17 killstreak, which I felt was Lord Gaben's way of apologizing by letting me have one last good time with this gun. Post-update, it's hardly fun to use. It's too hard to gain boost since you move slower and often lose any you got the following second. I can't "hit-and-run" Heavies any more, it's like fighting a Sentry. At full boost, just one rocket was enough to take away all of it and I still had half health. It's likely the boost loss is 1:1 with boost gain, i.e. 90 damage takes away 90 boost. Hopefully Valve lessens it within the week, since right now it's too high risk for mediocre reward.
- Dalokahs Bar: I used this a lot before, but mainly when fooling around as a lone Tickle Hoovy. Now it feels like an equal counterpart to the Sandvich. I used it with the Tomislav on a 32 player Turbine server, and got a ten kill streak while only thrice falling below 300 health. I feel like with it the Heavy is actually "the Heavy" again, the guy who can tank a ton of damage and needs teamwork to take down. My previous record for healing as Heavy was "500 something", but now...
Wow, it looks like I missed a lot during my TF 2 hiatus.
The BFB nerf sucks for me because I use it in MVM to save a couple hundred bucks on the Speed upgrades. It even has the first Prof kit I ever got from a drop, and now it's worthless.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Hm... looks like I'll be going back to Force A Nature or Soda Popper... or I might experiment with one of those new scattterguns I just got...
Any of the guns with a lot of scratches look great by the way.
So, to complete the bonus points for contracts, you need to do advanced objectives
For my heavy contract that means surviving 1000 damage without dying.
Guess what happens on most maps when a heavy is active for a long time, Backstab.
Guess what doesn't count towards the 1000 damage counter, Backstab.

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. The BFB nerf was too much. Hopefully they'll tone it down like they did with the Tide Turner.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Can't play the game, ping's going crazy.
Gonna wait a few days. Good thing I won't be around for aforementioned few days, so hey, I won't miss too much.
grahGood to see it's not just me.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.My update stopped at 96%.
#IceBearForPresidentI mean, to be fair... if you got backstabbed, it probably doesn't count as surviving 1000 damage, because... that kills you.
月を見るたび思い出せI was more lamenting the fact that there are spies everywhere.
Anyways I got it done, got a couple of neat weapons out of it.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Yeah, I really like the Battle-Scarred version of stuff. I got 2 scatterguns, with different patters and sold the one I didn't like. With the nerf to the BFB I might actually be using stock on scout for once.
Mini sentries are now reparable.
OH THE HUMANITY
