Thing is, early Hallowe'en servers don't give me the spellbook >.>
It has to be the Helltower map, that's the only one that actually has spells on it.
Does anyone else think that the Demoman's blackness being entirely superficial and not a factor of his personality to be a brilliant sendup of the "Token Minority" trope?
Desperate for feedback, please visit Troper Page for links!I don't think he's a sendup of anything, he's just black. Sometimes a minority is just a minority.
"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."Ran into another Demoknight in MVM. *Sigh*
I once saw a guy with, no lie, a Rocket Jumper in Mv M. He was a market gardening soldier. He bragged about how awesome he was over the voice chat, and then threw a shit fit when we voted to ban him after he wouldn't switch to an actual rocket launcher. I shoulda taken a picture.
"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."I've seen both insane crossbow medics and engineers that think they're heavies in Mv M so far.
Speaking of insanity, jumped onto a server that featured a player dubbed by both teams as "Mittens". Mittens outfitted himself exclusively with the crit-melee steak and various sets of boxing gloves, called for as many medics as he could muster to focus on him, and 'absolutely fucking brutalized everything the other team threw at him. He charged head on with those speed boosting gloves into a brass-beast wielding heavy and turned him into hamburger. He punched a rocket turret to death. I swear that by the time he finally logged out for the night the other team as shitting themselves every time they saw him. Even the pyro they had turned and ran away rather than airblast juggle him.
Wherever you roam, Mittens, I salute thee.
Oh this is a relief. I thought I had used a retired item to make a random hat, but I'd just gotten the Fancy Fedora and the Detective Noir confused.

Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Who's that man with the 3 pocket medics, Octo-Heavy~
#IceBearForPresidentI still want to organize a match where each team has one Heavy, one Third Degree Pyro, and everyone else is Medic.
x5: That sounded awesome.
A good way to farm the parachute 19.47 miles achievement is to go onto halloween Lakeside and drop into the death pit with a parachute active. 200 units of progress or so per second.
Had a couple interesting games. Dropped into a Baywater Basin as offense last round, as a Phlog Pyro, we steamrolled, I topscored and left. Then I got to a game of Hightower, where, in the proudest tradition, I generally fucked around, with trolldier, demokaze and my latest favorite, BFB/Guillotine/Boston Basher Scout. Had a lot of fun, and naturally got dominated three times. But a guy on my team was getting fed up with my antics, so I put on my Tryhard Loadout (stock/PBPP/Atomizer), got revenge on all three, killed the only guy who had been indulging me in a fair melee duel, and left. Fun stuff.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Found a server that only does the Halloween maps and am currently in the process of getting all the Halloween achievements/items so I only have to do the new ones when they come out.
I remember finding a nice friendly server last year where everybody's main aim was letting everybody have a chance at the Horsemann's achievements.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI remember going to a Brony server and me letting out steam because the previous server (a randomizer server) had absolutely nobody leaving me alone to fetch a gift. The Bronies were sympathetic.
What I hate is when people ignore the event boss and keep taking player kills.
Fresh-eyed movie blogYes... that ticks me off like crazy...
The funny part though is that while the bosses spawn, the gifts don't, so no spell pages for me :(
I thought items didn't spawn on halloween maps when halloween mode is disabled.
The world will look up and shout "Save us", and I'll look down and whisper "Too bad, Waluigi Time" Vote Loki 2016I sinned once of something like that.
There was once this HUGE group, like, 12 or so peeps, on a trading server, dancing the conga in a corner of a box ring. Some even seemed AFK. Thing is. There were so many. I could not resist. I simply went to the enemy team. Snuck on a corner, and my Machina fuly charged headshot killed a lot of them.
The noise it made still haunts my dreams, like the tolling of the bells, the bells!
P.S: Thankfully everyone laughed.

It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesThey don't, but achievements that give you items still work.
Hitting random brony servers has been some of the most goddamn creepy/brainbleach-required online experiences I've had in a game.
Then again, probably the most WTF one I've seen was one that allowed alltalk and some spy player would play old southern gospel music tracks right before he stabbed someone. Sounds innocuous enough but it quickly became a Scare Chord of sorts because you never knew who he might have been behind.
Personally I love brony servers; I spend a bunch of time on the Versus Ponyville Funbox.
Wait, which kind of brony are we talking about here?

I got TF 2 from the Orange Box and I let it sit until May last year. I should have gotten on sooner.
